Abstract: Base station antennas comprise a planar reflector, a radiating element mounted to extend forwardly from the planar reflector, the radiating element including a dipole that comprises an inner dipole arm and an outer dipole arm, and a radome having a front wall, a side wall and a curved front transition wall that connects the front wall to the side wall. A distal end of the outer dipole arm is closer to the planar reflector than is a base of the outer dipole arm, and an overlap portion of the outer dipole arm overlaps the curved front transition wall. A largest minimum distance between any point on a front surface of the overlap portion of the outer dipole arm and the radome is less than twice a smallest minimum distance between any point on the front surface of the overlap portion of the outer dipole arm and the radome.

Abstract: An antenna mounting assembly of a base station antenna includes: a pole clamp configured to clamp the pole; and a first pivoting arm and a second pivoting arm, a first end portion of the first pivoting arm being pivotally connected to a radome body of the antenna, a second end portion of the second pivoting arm being pivotally connected to the pole clamp, and an opposing second end portion of the first pivoting arm being pivotally connected to an opposing first end portion of the second pivoting arm through a pivoting portion. One of the second end portion of the first pivoting arm and the first end portion of the second pivoting arm is provided with a guide post, and the other is provided with a guide groove.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a mounting assembly and a mounting kit comprising such a mounting assembly for a base station antenna, wherein the mounting assembly has first and second connection parts, an effective length therebetween is related to the mechanical tilt of the base station antenna, and the effective length is continuously adjustable. The mounting assembly comprises a connecting rod mechanism having a first pair of connecting rods, a second pair of connecting rods, and a threaded connection device, wherein the threaded connection device connects two relatively movable hinged connection parts, the distance between the two hinged connection parts can be continuously adjusted by screwing the threaded connection device, so that the effective length can be continuously adjusted to realize continuous adjustment of the mechanical tilt of the base station antenna.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an antenna mounting device configured to collectively mount a plurality of base station antennas on the same pole. The antenna mounting device comprises: a bracket (1) defining a central recess (4) in a mounted state, the central recess being configured such that the central recess (4) loosely receives the pole (3); a fastening device (2) configured to fasten the bracket (1) to the pole (3); and a plurality of connecting members (5), each of the connecting members being configured for connection with at least one of the plurality of base station antennas (6), and the connecting members having a predetermined relative position on the bracket. With such an antenna mounting device, the plurality of base station antennas can be mounted on the same pole at precise positions relative to each other.

Abstract: The present disclosure has disclosed a base station antenna comprising an antenna core provided with an antenna base at the bottom thereof and provided with an antenna bracket at the top thereof; and a radome sleeved over the antenna core. The radome includes a top wall and a side wall that protrudes downward from the top wall. The antenna core and the radome are connected together by a fixed connection portion located near a bottom end of the radome and a floating connection portion located near a top end of the radome. The floating connection portion fixes a position of the radome on the antenna core in a horizontal direction and allows the radome to float relative to the antenna core in a vertical direction by cooperating the antenna bracket with the top wall of the radome or the side wall at the top of the radome. The base station antenna solves the problem of a tensile force between the antenna core and the radome resulting from the temperature change, thereby improving the performance parameters such as PIM of the base station antenna.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an actuator assembly for a base station antenna. The actuator assembly includes a plurality of actuators mounted side by side, a drive shaft, a drive gear configured to be axially movable relative to the drive shaft, and a moving device configured to axially move the drive gear relative to the drive shaft. Each actuator has a driven gear and an actuator element that is in transmission connection with the driven gear. The drive gear is configured for axial movement relative to the drive shaft, so as to engage with or disengage from the driven gear of any one of the actuators and configured to drive the one driven gear in engagement with the drive gear. The actuator assembly has a simple structure, a low height, a favorable PIM performance, and is expandable flexibly.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a support device for a phase shifter for a base station antenna. The support device includes a support plate suitable for fixation of a main printed circuit board of the phase shifter. The support plate includes a plate-shaped body and at least one support leg located at a lower portion of the body. Abstract: The present invention relates to an end cover assembly for a base station antenna, comprising: an end cover (3) having a bottom plate, wherein the bottom plate has a through hole (7); an electrical connector (4) having a flange (10), wherein the electrical connector is configured to be received in the through hole. The geometry of the through hole and the geometry of the flange are configured such that the flange can be inserted from an exterior of the end cover and through the through hole, and the flange is capable of abutting against an inner surface of the bottom plate adjacent an inner edge of the through hole inside the end cover, wherein the flange is securable to the bottom plate at a predetermined position of the flange relative to the through hole when the flange abuts against the inner surface. The present invention further relates to a base station antenna comprising the end cover assembly, as well as an assembling method and a disassembling method for the end cover assembly. The risk of falling off of the electrical connector may be reduced, and the electrical connector can be removed more easily.
