Abstract:
A communication system includes a first controller and a second controller connected to each other. The first controller receives electric power from a power source through a switch. The second controller includes a current detection unit, a management frame obtaining unit, a state comparing unit, and a diagnostic process executing unit. The current detection unit detects a consumed current value by the first controller. The management frame obtaining unit obtains a management frame including activation information of the first controller. The state comparing unit determines whether a first state based on the consumed current value and a second state based on the activation information of the first controller are inconsistent with each other. The diagnostic process executing unit performs, when the first state and the second state are inconsistent with each other, at least one of (i) storing diagnostic information and (ii) transmitting a notification of the diagnostic information.
Abstract:
A communication system includes a first control device that receives a power supply from a power source via a power supply switching section configured to switch between a conduction state and a cutoff state and a second control device that is data-communicably connected to the first control device and controls an operation of the power supply switching section. The second control device includes a state confirmation section that determines whether the first control device is in a cutoff-allowable state and a power supply control section that brings the power supply switching section into the cutoff state when the state confirmation section determines that the first control device is in the cutoff-allowable state.
Abstract:
A communication system includes a first control device that receives a power supply from a power source via a first electronic fuse, a second control device that is data-communicably connected to the first control device and receives a power supply from the power source via a second electronic fuse, a management device that is data-communicably connected between the first control device and the second control device; a switching control section configured to execute switching control to switch the first electronic fuse and the second electronic fuse between an on state and an off state, a diagnostic information storage section configured to store diagnostic information related to communication with the first control device, and a state information storage section configured to store first fuse state information related to a state of the first electronic fuse, which is referred to for invalidating the diagnostic information.
Abstract:
A vehicle-mounted network system includes a plurality of electronic control units (ECUs) communicatively connected to a communication path of a vehicle-mounted network, each of which is configured to selectively perform a normal mode of operation and a sleep mode, and a management apparatus. The plurality of ECUs are configured to be individually powered on and off by a power supply relay of the management apparatus. The management apparatus is configured to acquire information indicative of a vehicle situation and determine a scene from the acquired information, determine control contents for powering on or off at least one specific ECU, of the plurality of ECUs, corresponding to the determined scene, if any, and power on or off the at least one specific ECU based on the determined control contents.
