Abstract:
A position information providing apparatus for providing present position information to a position notifier apparatus is provided. The position information providing apparatus includes an ultrasonic wave output device for outputting ultrasonic wave and a controller for controlling the ultrasonic wave output device. In accordance with contents of the present position information, the controller sequentially selects a modulation frequency from among multiple detectable frequencies which are detectable by the position notifier apparatus and which are lower than an ultrasonic wave frequency. The controller controls the ultrasonic wave output device so that a maximum value or a minimum value of amplitude of the ultrasonic wave varies with to the selected modulation frequency.
Abstract:
A vehicle approach notification unit is disposed in a vehicle for producing a notification sound. The vehicle approach notification unit has a speaker and a thin film. The speaker is disposed to a sound tube of a vehicle horn of the vehicle. The vehicle horn produces a resonant warning sound with a resonant frequency. The thin film partitions a space between the speaker and the sound tube. The speaker emits the notification sound into the sound tube so that the notification sound is emitted outside of the vehicle via the sound tube. The thin film restricts a sound wave having the resonant frequency from being transmitted, and allows a sound wave having a frequency producing the notification sound to be transmitted.

A vehicle approach notification unit is mounted to a sound tube of an electromagnetic warning device producing a warning sound, and includes a dynamic speaker that produces a notification sound notifying a presence of a vehicle. The dynamic speaker is mounted to the sound tube and outputs the notification sound through the sound tube to outside of the vehicle. The sound tube has a warning sound outlet at an end of the sound tube and a through hole at a position different from the warning sound outlet.

An ultrasonic wave output device includes a plurality of ultrasonic wave output units, a hold unit, and a tubular unit. The plurality of ultrasonic wave output units output ultrasonic waves in a traveling direction set in advance in response to an input signal. The hold unit holds the plurality of ultrasonic wave output units. The tubular unit surrounds the plurality of ultrasonic wave output units in a direction orthogonal to the traveling direction. The tubular unit is connected to the hold unit.

An information provision apparatus includes: an information signal generator unit that generates an information signal containing information on a provision target; a converter unit that converts the generated information signal into a sound wave and outputs the sound wave; and a wireless communicator unit that performs wireless transmission and reception of data with a communication apparatus. Further, the information provision apparatus is enabled to receive an activation signal transmitted using a specific wireless transmission medium from a signal output apparatus. In response to that the activation signal is received, the information provision apparatus transitions into a state enabling wireless transmission and reception of data with the communication apparatus.

A bird repellent apparatus includes a speaker and a speaker control unit. The speaker control unit controls the speaker to emit an ultrasonic sound wave toward a predetermined area such that the ultrasonic sound wave is modulated to an audible frequency while traveling through air to generate a repellent sound with the audile frequency in the predetermined area for repelling birds.
