    摘要: An optical fiber ribbon holding member capable of readjusting a position of an optical fiber ribbon without requiring a heating operation is provided. A holding member main body that has a U-shaped cross section and a space to which a plurality of optical fiber ribbons can be accommodate in a laminated state, and a lid body an opening surface of which has a reverse U-shaped cross section are employed. A latch structure is formed on wall portions of a lid body and a holding member main body, and engages to each other when the lid body covers the holding member main body. Heating operation is not required, and the optical fiber ribbons are held by only a simple operation of covering the lid body, so that the operation of holding the optical fiber ribbons is easily performed and readjustment of the position of the optical fiber ribbons can be performed.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide an optical connector capable of preventing impairment of PC connections by a hard sleeve during PC connection of optical connectors having a hard sleeve installed in engaging pin holes thereof. The optical connector has a ferrule formed with integrally molded plastic and having engaging pin holes, and a hard sleeve installed in the engaging pin holes and having a hardness that is higher than the plastic of the ferrule. The hard sleeve and the plastic of the ferrule surrounding this hard sleeve are polished so as to be lower than the coupling end surface, and the end of the hard sleeve does not protrude beyond the coupling end surface.

    摘要: A closure for cable connection which is capable of preventing deformation thereof, facilitating incorporation and setting of a cable therein, exhibiting increased safety and airtightness, and attaining sleeve assembling and cable connection with improved workability. A sleeve is provided therein with a cable connection mechanism including a cable clamp, a tension member holder, and a fiber cable storage casing in which a fiber connection section of cable fibers and an excessive fiber are received. The sleeve is provided on upper and lower portions of an inner surface thereof with connection fitment mounting sections, on which a frame-like connection fitment for mounting the cable connection mechanism thereon is detachably fittedly fixed.
