    Abstract: An improved manual portion control feeder includes a food delivery mechanism that is in communication with a food reservoir and which, when actuated, dispenses a predetermined amount of food from the reservoir into another vessel. Advantageously, the feeding apparatus further includes a feedback mechanism which, responsive to an actuation of the food delivery mechanism, provides at least one of an acoustic indication and a tactile indication that is representative of the dispensing of a predetermined quantity of food by the food delivery mechanism. The acoustic and/or tactile indication enables the feeding apparatus to remain disposed on, for example, a floor and alerts the user that a predetermined amount of food has been dispensed from the reservoir since the acoustic and/or tactile indications are detectable with relative ease. This enables an animal to be provided a predetermined amount of food with minimal attention being required of the user.

    Abstract: A pet kennel and method of construction is disclosed herein. In an embodiment, the pet kennel includes a body and a door assembly. The body has an interior space configured for a pet and includes at least one aperture sized and shaped for the pet. The door assembly is attached to the body at the aperture. The door assembly includes a latching part pivotally attached to a hinge part. The latching part includes a latching mechanism configured to lock and unlock the door assembly. The hinge part is fixedly attached to the body so as to substantially surround a perimeter of the aperture.

    Abstract: A pet barrier is basically provided that includes a plurality of telescoping tubes, a plurality of bars and at least one locking device. The telescoping tubes are configured to be installed in a vehicle. The telescoping tubes include a first tube and a second tube. The second tube is sized and configured to be inserted into an inner cavity of the first tube. The second tube includes a noise damping cap installed thereon to separate the second tube from an inner wall of the first tube. The plurality of bars extends transverse to the telescoping tubes.
