摘要: Disclosed herein are a decoding method and apparatus and an encoding method and apparatus for deriving an intra-prediction mode. An intra-prediction mode may be derived using a method for deriving an intra-prediction mode based on a neighbor block of the target block, a method for deriving an intra-prediction mode using signaling of the intra-prediction mode of the target block, or a method for deriving an adaptive intra-prediction mode based on the type of a target slice. An MPM list may be used to derive the intra-prediction mode, and a temporal neighbor block or the like may be used to configure the MPM list.

In video encoding and decoding, inter-prediction information for a target block may be derived, and inter prediction for a target block may be performed using the derived inter-prediction information. Combined inter-prediction information may be performed by combining multiple pieces of inter-prediction information, and the combined inter-prediction information may be added as a candidate to a list used for inter prediction. One of candidates in the list may be selected for inter prediction for the target block, and inter prediction using the selected candidate may be performed.

摘要: Disclosed herein are a decoding method and apparatus and an encoding method and apparatus that perform inter-prediction using a motion vector predictor. For a candidate block in a col picture, a scaled motion vector is generated based on a motion vector of the candidate block. When the scaled motion vector indicates a target block, a motion vector predictor of the target block is generated based on the motion vector of the candidate block. The motion vector predictor is used to derive the motion vector of the target block in a specific inter-prediction mode such as a merge mode and an AMVP mode.

摘要: Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for compressing learning parameters for training of a deep-learning model and transmitting the compressed parameters in a distributed processing environment. Multiple electronic devices in the distributed processing system perform training of a neural network. By performing training, parameters are updated. The electronic device may share the updated parameter thereof with additional electronic devices. In order to efficiently share the parameter, the residual of the parameter is provided to the additional electronic devices. When the residual of the parameter is provided, the additional electronic devices update the parameter using the residual of the parameter.

Coding decision information of a representative channel of a target block is shared as coding decision information of a target channel of the target block, and decoding of the target block is performed using the coding decision information of the target channel. Since the coding decision information of the representative channel is shared with an additional channel, repeated signaling of identical coding decision information may be prevented. By means of this prevention, the efficiency of encoding and decoding of the target block or the like may be improved.

When the motion information passes a motion prediction boundary check, the motion information is added to the list. 摘要: Disclosed herein are a method and apparatus for luminance-adaptive opto-electrical transfer and luminance-adaptive electro-optical transfer. For video transmission and compression, opto-electrical transfer and electro-optical transfer are required. The surround luminance and luminance range of an image are taken into consideration when performing opto-electrical transfer and electro-optical transfer. An opto-electrical transfer function may be derived based on a contrast sensitivity function that takes into consideration the surround luminance of an image. Also, parameters relevant to surround luminance may be signaled from an encoding apparatus to a decoding apparatus, and an electro-optical transfer function may be derived based on the parameters.

A transformed block is generated by performing a first transformation that uses a prediction block for a target block. A reconstructed block for the target block is generated by performing a second transformation that uses the transformed block. The prediction block may be a block present in a reference image, or a reconstructed block present in a target image. The first transformation and the second transformation may be respectively performed by neural networks. Since each transformation is automatically performed by the corresponding neural network, information required for a transformation may be excluded from a bitstream.
