    摘要: Provided are a method for preparing a nickel hydroxide for a nickel electrode, which comprises solidly dissolving ions of other metals than nickel in a nickel hydroxide, and eluting a partial amount of the metal, a method for manufacturing a nickel electrode, which comprises filling a porous current collector with an active material paste consisting mainly of the resulting nickel hydroxide, and an alkaline secondary battery which incorporates the nickel electrode as a positive electrode therein. This nickel hydroxide restrains deformation or expansion of the nickel electrode and lowering of the discharge capacity of the battery despite repeated charge/discharge cycles of the battery.

    摘要: The present invention provides a battery remaining electrical charge/remaining capacity estimating method which makes it possible to obtain a convergence value of a battery open circuit voltage with high accuracy and in a short time.The method includes a voltage estimating step of obtaining a stable open circuit voltage estimated value after a lapse of desired time, the step including: a step of using an approximate function including a plurality of exponential function terms of time and a plurality of coefficients, stopping charge or discharge operation for a predetermined time, measuring a battery voltage over time during the time and using an obtained relation between the battery voltage and the time as a basis to determine the coefficients; and a step of determining at least one power coefficient of inferior logarithm of the exponential function terms based on temperature by expressing the coefficient as a previously obtained function of temperature.

    摘要: A method for determining deterioration of accumulator battery hooked up with loads in a system based on results of measuring internal resistances of an accumulator battery, the method comprising the steps of; predetermining as a specified temperature a temperature at which the deterioration of the accumulator battery is determined; calculating in advance temperature correction coefficients of the internal resistances from changes of the internal resistances depending on temperatures; predetermining resistance-voltage conversion factors to convert between the internal resistances at the specified temperature and terminal discharge voltages of the accumulator battery which are obtained at the specified temperature under a condition of flowing predetermined discharge currents from the accumulator battery; measuring the internal resistances of the accumulator battery and temperature of the accumulator battery at an internal resistance measurement; converting the measured internal resistance values into the internal resistance values at the specified temperature with use of the temperature correction coefficients of the internal resistances; converting the internal resistance values at the specified temperature into the terminal discharge voltage values of the accumulator battery at the specified temperature with use of the resistance-voltage conversion factors; and determining whether the accumulator battery is deteriorated or not by means of comparison of the terminal discharge voltage values of the accumulator battery at the specified temperature and a predetermined threshold value as a deterioration judgment standard.
