    Abstract: A hinge includes two brackets and a sliding module. Each bracket has a support shaft and a support plate for supporting a flexible display. The sliding module includes a rail seat, two rail keys, two axle keys and two auxiliary extending frames. The rail seat has two arcuate inboard rails, two receiving slots and two arcuate outboard rails. Each rail key has a key body received in the receiving slot, a sliding protrusion slidable along the arcuate inboard rail, and an arcuate key rail opposite to the sliding protrusion. The axle keys are slidable along the arcuate key rails, and are journalled on the support shafts. The auxiliary extending frames are slidable along the arcuate outboard rails and slidably connected with the support plates. With adjustment of the rails, moving paths of the keys are adjusted to meet the requirement of bending of the flexible display.

    Abstract: A foldable display device includes a hinge, a housing shell unit and a display unit. The housing shell unit includes two housing shells connected with left and right sides of the hinge, two support plates respectively disposed on the housing shells, and a plurality of pairs of display rails defined between the housing shells and the support plates. Each housing shell has a base shell wall connected with the hinge. Each display rail has a rail groove. The display unit is securely disposed to the hinge, and is movably engaged in the rail grooves. The hinge is rotatable between an unfolded position and an outfolding position. During rotation of the hinge, the display unit is moved along the rail grooves.

    Abstract: A multi-position hinge includes a base seat, a first axle, a second axle and a sliding assembly. The first and second axles rotatably extend through the base seat in a first direction and are spaced apart from each other in a second direction. The first axle has a first recess, a second recess and a first gear portion. The second axle has a third recess, a fourth recess and a second gear portion corresponding with the first recess, the second recess and the first gear portion, respectively. The sliding assembly includes a first sliding member engageable with the first and third recesses, and a second sliding member engageable with the second and fourth recesses. The first and second axles are rotatable in turn and then rotated synchronously to perform multi-position shifting.

    Abstract: A hinge includes two rotatable axle units each having two hinge shafts, two synchronizing units each disposed to make synchronous rotations of the hinge shafts, two movable bracket units each having a turnable base plate, two rotary blocks non-rotatably sleeved on the hinge shafts, and two movable plates movable relative to the rotary blocks, and two guiding bracket units, each having male and female arms respectively connected with two movable plates, and a plurality of guiding connecting members interposed between the arms. Each guiding connecting member has a protrusion and a sliding groove, and is angularly movable with the rotations of the hinge shafts. Removal of the protrusion from the sliding groove of an adjacent guiding connecting member is prevented by means of engagement of an abutting portion of the protrusion with an abutted block in the groove.

    Abstract: An outward-folding display device includes a casing unit and a display protection module. The casing unit includes first and second casings and a sliding board slidably mounted to the second casing. The second casing has a plurality of buffer slots. The display protection module is mounted in the second casing, and includes a plurality of buffer blocks and a plurality of resilient members. The buffer blocks slidably and respectively engage the buffer slots, and are connected to the sliding board. The resilient members are connected between the second casing and the sliding board for biasing the sliding board toward its default position when the buffer blocks are moved in a folding process of the outward-folding display device.
