Abstract: A function expansion device and an electronic device including the same. The function expansion device includes a casing, an expansion device and a handle. The casing has a main space and a side space. The expansion device is accommodated in the main space of the casing. The handle is slidably disposed in the side space and is thus allowed to move between a housed position and an extracted position along a sliding direction of the casing by gravitational force. A first protruding length of the handle relative to the casing when the handle is at the housed position is less than a second protruding length of the handle relative to the casing when the handle is at the extracted position. When the handle is at the extracted position, the handle is pressed against the casing to enable the casing to be moved along with the handle.

Abstract: A cable clip disposed at an electronic device and adapted to clamp a cable is provided. The cable clip comprises a first clamping unit and a second clamping unit. The first clamping unit has a first clamping portion and two spaced-apart anti-pulling portions. The second clamping unit has a second clamping portion corresponding in position to the first clamping portion and two fixing portions corresponding in position to the two anti-pulling portions, to which the two anti-pulling portions are connected respectively. The cable is clamped between the first and second clamping portions when the first and second clamping units fit together in operation, and thus part of the electronic device is confined between the two anti-pulling portions, allowing the first clamping unit to bear a pulling force by one of the two anti-pulling portions. The cable clip prevents detachment of the cable's connector otherwise electrically connected to the electronic device.

Abstract: A dock includes a base, a fixing switch, a release component, a connector, and a connection component. When an electronic device is mounted on the base, the release component must be pressed in order for the fixing switch to be operable, allowing the connection component to drive the connector to connect with the electronic device. When no electronic device is mounted on the base, the connector is received in the base to protect the connector against damage while the dock is being carried around. That the release component must be pressed in order for the fixing switch to be movable protects the connector against damage in a situation where, while the dock is being carried around, the fixing switch is inadvertently pushed, causing the connector to protrude from the dock.

Abstract: This disclosure is directed to a rugged plug having a connector, an elastic inner sheath and a slidable rigid sheath. The connector has a coupling end.
