    Abstract: Methods, apparatuses and systems for providing a switching component are disclosed herein. An example switching component may comprise: A switching component comprising: a housing; a carrier body disposed within the housing; a first pair of contact pads disposed on a first surface of the carrier body; and a second pair of contact pads disposed on a second surface of the carrier body, wherein each pair of contact pads is configured to independently make contact with adjacent bridge contact pads in order to actuate an electrical bridge in response to movement of the carrier body.

    Abstract: A structure for reducing displacement of a magnetic sensor in an open loop magnetic core is provided. The structure can include a body having a first end and a second end. The structure can include a first elasticity component connected to the first end extending in a direction away from the body and a second elasticity component connected to the second end extending in a direction away from the body. The structure can include two clamp components connected to the body between the first and second ends, where the two clamp components are configured to secure the magnetic sensor. The structure can be compressible in response to an application of force to outer surfaces of the elasticity components.

    Abstract: Various embodiments are directed to an elevator positioning system, comprising: a transceiver disposed within an elevator shaft; a first positioning element; a second positioning element; and a controller communicably coupled to the transceiver, wherein the controller is configured to: determine a first distance between the transceiver and the first positioning element; determine a calibration distance between the transceiver and the second positioning element based at least in part on a second reflection detected by the transceiver from the second positioning element at a first instance; based at least in part on the first distance and the calibration distance, calculate an adjusted elevator car position defined at least in part by a shaft displacement compensation distance; and cause an elevator car to move about a vertical axis of the elevator shaft to a vertical position within the elevator shaft that corresponds at least in part to the adjusted elevator car position.

An example switching component may include: a housing, a moveable carrier disposed within the housing, a set of moveable contacts, wherein a central body of the set of moveable contacts is disposed flush between a first surface of the moveable carrier and a second surface of the moveable carrier, and a set of stationary contacts adjacent the set of moveable contacts, wherein the set of moveable contacts is configured to move with a degree of freedom to make contact with the set of stationary contacts in order to actuate an electrical bridge in response to movement of the moveable carrier.
