Abstract: Methods and systems of managing a resource in a distributed resource management system can include: receiving a resource request including data identifying at least one requested resource attribute; identifying one or more candidate resources from a plurality of resources by performing element-wise operations on one or more resource attribute element sets corresponding to the at least one requested resource attribute, each resource attribute element set comprising an element for each of the plurality of resources, each element representing a resource attribute for a respective resource of the plurality of resources; and scheduling a workload associated with the resource request for execution based on the one or more identified candidate resources.

Abstract: A method includes: when the electronic device performs data exchange with an application server through a Wi-Fi network and a cellular network, the cellular network is applied for by a first application and used by the first application and a second application that does not apply for the cellular network. When the first application is switched, as a last application that has applied for the cellular network and used the cellular network, from the foreground to the background for running, and does not generate application data for specific duration, a channel of the cellular network of the electronic device may be disconnected.

Abstract: A method implemented by a communication system, including at least a first electronic device and a second electronic device, includes that the first electronic device plays multimedia content. The first electronic device sends first synchronization information through broadcast, so that the second electronic device receives the first synchronization information, where the first synchronization information includes at least a first address, and the first address is an obtaining address of the multimedia content. In response to a preset operation, the first electronic device establishes a near field wireless communication connection to the second electronic device, and the second electronic device caches the multimedia content based on at least the first address. The first electronic device sends a control instruction to the second electronic device by using the near field wireless communication connection. The second electronic device plays the multimedia content based on the control instruction.

Abstract: A method for managing file system replication can include: collecting event data associated with file system events, each of the file system events indicative of a modification of at least one file at a first file system location; for each of the file system events, generating at least one file system action to apply the modification of the at least one file at the first file system location to at least one corresponding file at a second file system location; storing the at least one generated file system action in an action buffer; identifying dependencies between file system actions in the action buffer; and scheduling the file system actions in the action buffer for execution based on the dependencies.

Abstract: In a distributed computing network, requests for allocation of resources to tenant workloads and messages identifying resource availability are received and aggregated. Resources are allocated to the workloads in accordance with a distribution policy defining values for resource entitlements of the tenants. The values include pre-emption quantities. In response to determining that a quantity of resources allocated for workloads of a first tenant is less than the tenant's pre-emption quantity, processing of another workload from a second tenant is interrupted to re-allocate resources from the second tenant's workload to the first tenant's workload.

Abstract: The present disclosure is drawn to methods and systems for resource enforcement in a distributed system. At least one first host of the system has an enforcement agent configured to trigger a master enforcement controller in response to the first host running a task requiring access to a distributed resource. The master enforcement controller obtains identification information regarding the distributed resource and transmits an enforcement command to other hosts of the distributed system involved in providing the distributed resource. The enforcement command is received by enforcement agents on each of the involved hosts and triggers a slave enforcement controller on each of the involved hosts. The slave enforcement controllers locally enforce a resource quota for the distributed resource.

Abstract: A multimedia redirection method comprising receiving, by a server, a hardware decoding capability sent by a client, where the hardware decoding capability is a hardware decoding capability that is in a video hardware acceleration specification and that is converted from a hardware decoding capability of a non-Windows operating system by the client; restoring, by the server, video data to a video code stream of a standard encoding format after receiving the hardware decoding capability; and sending, by the server, the video code stream to the client for decoding and display.
