摘要： A sheet folding apparatus for performing folding processing on a sheet from a carry-in entrance to carry out to a carrying-out exit has a sheet feeding apparatus, a first transport path, a second transport path, and a folding processing device. The sheet feeding apparatus includes a transport roller pair in press-contact with each other, a gate stopper device having a stopper member, a register area to curve and deform the sheet with the front end regulated, and a stopper driving device for shifting the gate stopper device. The stopper member is formed so that a shift trajectory of the regulation surface is to guide the front end of the sheet to the press-contact portion of the transport roller pair. The first transport path is provided with the sheet feeding apparatus for aligning a front end of the sheet fed from the carry-in entrance to feed to a predetermined processing position.

摘要： To reduce a power consumption amount of an apparatus for selectively performing folding processing in carrying a sheet from a carry-in portion to a carrying-out portion, provided are a first transport path 32 for guiding a sheet from the carry-in portion 30 to the carrying-out portion 31 without performing the folding processing, and a second transport path 33 branching off from the first transport path and being disposed in a direction to cross, for performing the folding processing on a sheet from the carry-in portion to guide to the carrying-out portion, and a folding roller 41b disposed in the second transport path is arranged so that at least part of the periphery faces the first transport path 32. Then, a guide cover 44 for covering the periphery of the roller is disposed in the first transport path to be able to shift to positions between an actuation position for covering so that the sheet does not contact the periphery of the roller and a non-actuation position in which the sheet engages with the periphery of the roller, and is controlled to shift to the actuation position with a pinch roller, which comes into press-contact and separates with/from the folding roller, separated from the periphery of the roller.

A folding process unit folds sequentially fed copy paper or other sheets, and a sheet stacking unit loads/stows sheets from the folding unit. A conveyance device conveying one folding-processed sheet at a time is furnished between the folding unit and the sheet stacking unit. The conveyance device includes a first, upstream conveyance unit conveying sheets from the folding process unit in a direction approximately orthogonal to the sheets' crease(s), and a second, downstream conveyance unit conveying sheets in the orientation of the crease(s). The second conveyance unit is configured with a tray member where sheets are supported one at a time, and is configured so as to sequentially deliver each sheet to the sheet stacking unit along the tray member in the orientation of the crease(s).

A cover member is arranged to freely open and close a space for the stapling operation between the head unit and the anvil unit, and a control device controls the staple operating device not to operate when the cover member is not positioned at the closed position.

摘要： A sheet stacking apparatus includes a sheet transport path for transporting a sheet; a discharge device disposed adjacent to the sheet transport path for sequentially transporting the sheet; a support tray disposed adjacent to the discharge device for temporarily supporting at least a part of the sheet transported by the discharge device; a stacker disposed at a downstream side of the support tray for stacking and storing the sheet transported from the support tray; a sheet pushing member disposed on the support tray for abutting against an edge of the sheet stacked on the support tray; and a drive device capable of rotating in forward and reverse directions. The drive device reciprocally moves the sheet pushing member between a retracted position at an upstream side of a stacking position where the sheet is stacked on the support tray and a transport position at a downstream side of the stacking position.
