Abstract:
Device for distributing a light fluid phase (2) in a heavy phase (4) in the fluidized state in a reaction chamber (5), comprising: a pipe (1) for transporting the light fluid phase; first and second windows (7, 8) created in the pipe, the second windows opening into the reaction chamber; and branches (6) extending each first window and splitting into: a central passage opening into the reaction chamber via an intermediate window (9) created in the upper wall of the branch (6); and at least two distinct lateral branches forming two lateral passages (10) opening into the reaction chamber via end-of-branch windows (11).
Abstract:
The invention is a method for deacidizing a gaseous effluent comprising acid compounds, such as CO2 and/or H2S, and a device for implementing the method, through contact with a demixing absorbent solution. Regeneration is performed by vapor injection into the liquid guard (202) formed by the regenerated absorbent solution in the bottom of regeneration column (G). The vapor is generated within a reboiler (203) from a fraction of the regenerated absorbent solution withdrawn from the regeneration column. Vapor injection enables convective movement of the liquid for preventing any decantation phenomenon in the bottom of the regeneration column bottom which is harmful to the smooth operation of the deacidizing process.
Abstract:
The invention is a distributor tray for a column (1) for heating and/or material exchange between a gas (G) and a liquid (L). At least one wall (6) defines compartments (8) on one of the surfaces of the tray. The walls are perforated (7) to allow part of the liquid to flow between compartments (8). Each compartment has a passage providing flow of the liquid through the tray and for a passage providing flow of the gas through the tray. The invention also relates to a gas/liquid contact column, a gas treatment unit, a CO2 capture unit, a distillation unit, and an offshore floating barge including the distributor tray. The invention also relates to a method of manufacturing the tray.
Abstract:
The packing includes a pile of plates having corrugations forming a succession of channels comprising fins, each fin being made up of at least one band cut out in one of the plates and remaining secured to the plate on at least one side, the band being deformed so as to create an orifice forming a discontinuity on the surface of the plate, wherein the direction of the channels of a plate forms a non-zero angle with respect to the direction of the edges of an adjacent plate. Finally, the lengths of the fins of a channel are different from those of the fins of a neighboring channel.
