The method includes: extracting terms from a content item using statistical selection criteria; weighting a term by a probability that the term is used as a tag; and generating a visual representation of terms with enhanced representation of terms according to the weighting. Weighting a term by a probability that the term is used as a tag may include determining the relative frequency of the term in a folksonomy of tag terms for a domain.

A group of data is provided to crowd-computing participants and the participants are requested to provide candidate members or the group of data. The computer-implemented method performed includes: receiving an input by a participant, wherein the input is a candidate member; counting multiple inputs of the same candidate member by participants; validating a candidate member; rewarding the participants inputting the candidate member, with a higher reward for participants who input the candidate member earlier than other participants; and supplying the rewards to participants once the candidate member has been validated.

摘要： A shared feed reader for multiple users and a method for sharing feed reading are provided which provide group collaboration features. The shared feed reader includes a server including a processor hosting the shared feed reader for remote access by multiple users, and a user interface for each of the multiple users including an aggregator of web feeds subscribed to by the user. The shared feed reader includes: a mechanism for defining a group of users, wherein web feeds subscribed to by users in the group are exposed to the other users in the group; and a mechanism for sharing a read status of a web feed post across the group, wherein the read status indicates which users have read the post. The shared feed reader may also include a mechanism for receiving a meta-feed of meta-posts, wherein meta-feeds and meta-posts relate to activities of users in the group on shared feeds and posts.

The method includes receiving an email message at a user's email client, the email message having multiple recipients, one of the recipients being the user. The social network list for a user may be obtained by different methods including using the user's contact resources, or using an aggregating social network system including weighting relationships between contacts.

The method includes capturing a social environment at a given time including capturing a set of identities in a predefined proximity to a monitored identity at the given time, wherein an identity is an identity of a real person or a virtual identity, and recording parameters of the social environment. The method then combines the captured social environments in a time range for a monitored identity and analyses the combined captured social environments in the time range to provide a social network for the monitored identity including weightings of the relationships between the monitored identity and the captured identities. The monitored identity and the captured identities may be avatars and the predefined proximity may be a proximity to a virtual location. Alternatively or additionally, the monitored identity and the captured identities may be identities of real people or groups of people, and the predefined proximity may be a proximity to a real location.
