    摘要： According to the present invention, in a window pane supporter in a motor car for supporting a pane at a door belt line portion in a width-wise direction of the vehicle, a cleaning portion for cleaning off undesirable matter attached to the outer surface of the pane when the pane is elevated or lowered is provided at a position upwardly of a supporting portion for supporting the pane in the width-wise direction of the vehicle, so that the inner and outer surfaces of the pane can be firmly supported at the door belt line portion without forming any scratch on the pane surface.

    摘要： The invention relates to a procedure for chemically determining the base sequence of DNA and, in particular, its step of cleaving the labeled DNA having undergone a base-selective chemical modification at the position of the modified base. More particularly, it relates to a method for cleaving DNA which comprises modifying DNA base-selectively with chemical reagents, bringing the resulting reaction mixture into contact with an adsorbent to adsorb the chemically modified DNA on the adsorbent, washing the adsorbent with a washing fluid to remove any chemical modification reagents from the adsorbent, bringing the adsorbent into contact with an eluent to elute the chemically modified DNA adsorbed thereon, concentrating the resulting eluate and then heating it together with a cleavage reagent.This invention also relates to apparatus for carrying out the above-described method which comprises a reactor 1 for receiving the reaction mixture having undergone a chemical modification reaction of DNA, a transfer pump 4, an adsorber 2 containing an adsorbent, a three-way valve 5 and a concentrator 3, these units being interconnected by conduits in the order mentioned.

    摘要： An optical pickup applies five different light beams at the same time to every second five tracks on a signal plane of a CD-ROM. A record data read system reads record data independently for each light beam system in accordance with outputs of respective light beams reflected from the signal plane, and stores the read record data in the record order. Under the control of a system controller, the optical pickup and record data read system read the record data of the CD-ROM by alternately performing an operation of continuously reading the record data with the five light beam systems during approximately two rotations of the CD-ROM and a track jump operation by seven tracks in a forward direction after the continuous reading operation with a combination of the five light beam systems shows no omission of the record data of the CD-ROM.

    摘要： An ink-jet printing apparatus can maintain a liquid level height in an ink storing portion in an air buffering vessel at a predetermined height and can simplify an associated mechanism for connection between a scanning carriage and a stationary ink tank while a low cost single tube is employed. An air buffering vessel of the ink-jet printing apparatus has one ink supply opening from the ink storage tank and at least two suction and discharge openings located at mutually different height in a vertical direction. Upper opening of the at least two suction and discharge openings serves for air suction and discharge. Lower opening serves for ink supply and discharge, and is communicated with a connection opening of the printing head.

The particles are incorporated in a slurried state into the polymer. There is also provided a laminate film containing the polymer with the particles thus incorporated therein.The polyester composition is superior in uniform dispersibility of the particles, re-agglomeratin does not occur in melt-storage for a long time, and films formed using the polyester composition are superior in traveling performance and abrasion resistance.

Light beams reflected from the signal plane are detected with photodetectors (PD1, to PD6), and in accordance with the detection outputs of the photodetectors (PD1 to PD5), a record data read system reads at the same time data recorded on respective tracks applied with the light beams (31 to 35), and outputs to read data in the record order of CD-ROM by preventing the read data from being duplicated or omitted. Prior to reading record data, a system controller performs an offset bias adjustment of a focus servo system.
