Abstract: According to an aspect, a display device includes: a first substrate; a display functional layer; a plurality of first electrodes; a light guide plate; a plurality of second electrodes; and a controller configured to control the first electrodes and the second electrodes. The first substrate, the display functional layer, the first electrodes, the light guide plate, and the second electrodes are stacked in this order. The controller performs operations during a plurality of display periods to display an image, during a first sensing period, and during a second sensing period in a time-division manner. The first electrodes are supplied with a first drive signal and an electromotive force caused by electromagnetic induction is generated in the second electrodes during the first sensing period. The first electrodes are supplied with a second drive signal to generate electrostatic capacitance between the first electrodes and the second electrodes during the second sensing period.

Abstract: According to an aspect, a touch detecting apparatus includes: three or more detectors; three or more detection signal lines; an integration line; three or more switches; and a control circuit. The control circuit controls the number of times an output integration is performed. During the output integration, the control circuit switches a first type switch to a decoupling mode, and switches second type switches to a coupling mode. The first type switch is one switch coupled to a first type detector, and each second type switch is coupled to one or more of second type detectors with which the second type switch corresponds. During the output integration, the integration line outputs an integrated output of outputs from the second type detectors. The output integration is performed a plurality of times corresponding to at least the number of the detectors while a combination of the second type detectors is changed.

Abstract: A display device includes a first camera that captures an image of a first viewer present in a first normal direction of a display surface of a transparent display, a second camera that captures an image of a second viewer present in a second normal direction of the display surface of the transparent display, the second normal direction being an opposite direction of the first normal direction, a microphone, and a control circuit that includes a user coordinate calculation circuit, a gesture detection circuit, a dictation circuit, and a drawing information generation circuit. The user coordinate calculation circuit specifies positions of the first viewer and the second viewer on the basis of the images from the first camera and the second camera. When the gesture detection circuit determines that the first viewer utters sound, the dictation circuit generates a character based on sound information from the microphone, and the generated character is displayed on the transparent display toward the second viewer by the drawing information generation circuit.

Abstract: Disclosed herein is a detection device including a sensor substrate including strain sensors arranged on a rectangular flexible substrate at fixed intervals in a longitudinal direction. A curvature radius between a pair of adjacent strain sensors is calculated on a value from a preceding strain sensor of the pair of adjacent sensors. When a start point node is defined as a position of a first strain sensor at one end of the strain sensors, a relative position of each of the strain sensors is determined by sequentially adding the relative positions. When the first and second strain sensors overlap, positions of the first and second strain sensors are considered identical on relative space. A position of each strain sensor is corrected based on a difference between a calculated position of the second strain sensor determined by sequentially adding the relative positions and actual position of the second strain sensor.
