摘要: A flow shifting fuel cell with water separator. The water separator is used to control the amount of moisture that passes through the anode flowpath of one or more fuel cells in one or more fuel cell stacks. The water separator is made up of a housing to direct the flow of a moisture-bearing fluid as well as act as a collection and container for separated moisture. Fluid that is cyclically passing through the fuel cell stack as part of its flow shifting mode of operation oscillates back and forth across a separation chamber formed within the water separator, thereby allowing bidirectional control of the moisture content within the fluid. A drain is formed in the separation chamber to allow removal of condensed water.

摘要: The invention relates to a device which is used to deliver packets (1) comprising a pouring spout (2) to a rotating star-shaped element (3). A guiding rail (4), which co-operates with a pouring spout (2) and which is used to receive the bag in a displaceable manner, is provided with a removal end (8). The aim of the invention is to produce a device wherein delivery is simplified and high clock frequencies are ensured. As a result, an upper slider (7) engages with the bags (1) at the pouring spout (2) in the region of the removal end (8) of the guiding rail (4), and a drive unit (9) displaces the upper slider (7) between a removal position (10) on the removal end (8) of the guiding rail (4) and a delivery position (11) of the orbit of the receiving elements (12) of the star-shaped element (3).

摘要: A pipe connection has a connecting member (1). The connecting member (1) has a first end face (4), a first conical bore (5), starting to taper from the latter, which defines a first cone angle (11). The connecting member also includes an axial bore length (9) followed by a bore (6). The outside of the connecting member (1) has a threaded portion (3). A nut (13) has a second conical bore (15) tapered in the direction opposite to the direction of the first conical bore (5). The second conical bore defines a second cone angle (16). A through-bore (17) is in the nut (13). A pipe (18) has a pipe projection (19) which extends into the bore (6) of the connecting member (1). A connecting portion (21) is on the pipe (18). A first conical tensioning face (22) which cooperates with the first conical bore (5) is on the connecting portion (21). The first conical tensioning face defines a third cone angle (23) which is greater than the first cone angle (11) and whose axial length of overlap (32) with the first conical bore (5) is smaller than 15% of the axial bore length (9) of the first conical bore (5). The connecting portion (21) has a second conical tensioning face (25) which cooperates with the second conical bore (15). The second conical tensioning face defines a fourth cone angle (26) corresponding to the second cone angle (16). On the radial inside of the first tensioning face (22), an annular recess (28) is arranged. The recess (28) starts from the smallest cone diameter (24) of the first tensioning face (22) and extends over part of the axial length.

摘要: A mold component for forming a member consisting of a nondevelopable surface, such a member being an airfoil such as a wing or the like, is provided with an interior cavity in the shape of a developable surface which approximates the nondevelopable surface. In forming the mold cavity, points of equal tangential inclination on the non-developable surface are joined by straight lines and then the areas between the straight lines are formed as flat planar surfaces, thereby to form a developable surface which is an approximation of the nondevelopable surface. A flat planar development is then formed from this developable surface and bends are made therein at the straight lines in order to form thereby the mold cavity. A substantial number of said bends extend non-parallel to each other and none of the bends intersect.

摘要: A rotor for a rotary wing aircraft has two damping structures on the outs of the blade angle adjustment sleeve. Each damping structure is a sandwich of an elastomeric layer between two stiff cover layers. A two-armed strut passes through the blade neck and is connected at its center in a pivoting manner to the blade root. The threaded outer ends of the two-armed struts pass through the respective sandwich for yieldingly connecting the radially inner end of the blade angle adjustment sleeve to the blade root. By tightening nuts on the threaded strut arms the elastomeric layer may be compressed. Thus, the damping structure performs, in addition to the damping function, a connecting function for the blade angle adjustment sleeve.
