摘要： Liquids in general, and paint in particular, can be evenly distributed by a paint transfer drum having a friction-creating surface that is placed in contact with a friction-receiving surface of an endless belt that is driven (by the drum as it rotates) into and out of a container for the liquid. A scraper removes a portion of the lifted liquid from the endless belt. The scraped liquid falls upon a liquid distribution device that serves to evenly distribute said liquid laterally so that it will be evenly applied along the exterior surface of the paint transfer drum.

摘要： Production of electrically conductive polypyrrole of enhanced stability by treating a liquid pyrrole with a solution of a strong oxidant, capable of oxidizing pyrrole to a pyrrole polymer, and oxidizing the pyrrole by such strong oxidant in the presence of a relatively large organic dopant anion, and precipitating a conductive polypyrrole. The strong oxidant, e.g., Fe.sup.3+ ion, and dopant anion, which can be an alkyl or aryl sulfonate, e.g., methylbenzenesulfonate, or a perfluorinated carboxylate, e.g., trifluoroacetate, anion, can be derived from a single compound, e.g., ##STR1## the anion serving as dopant for the polypyrrole.

摘要： An improvement to a rotating blade is disclosed in a device that will apply variable moment forces to wind blades which are counter to the variable forces normally encountered in typical wind blades. The device consists of a gyro attached to the rotating blade and because of the torque force obtained by gyroscopic precession, the device will provide moment forces counter to normal blade wind forces. This invention shows a unique arrangement where the gyro is attached to the blade by a gyro positioner which adjusts the gyro's precessional rate. The gyro's precessional rate is varied with the blade's deflection or blade stress so that the gyro will impose a moment force counter to the cyclic deflection in the blade. Thus the device prevents or reduces the vibrational deflection and resultant stresses in the blades and its associated structures.

摘要： A crimping tool comprising a top plate, a parallel bottom plate, a rigid arm disposed between the plates and being affixed thereto, a movable arm positioned adjacent the rigid arm and having one end thereof pivotally mounted to the plates adjacent one end of the rigid arm, the rigid arm and the movable arm being positioned and formed so that their free ends comprise opposed crimping jaws for allowing the positioning of a portion of a circle clamp therebetween when the arms are in an open position, the top plate having a sufficient width so as to rest atop the open jaws of a bench vise when the crimping jaws are fully opened, the bottom plate having a width no greater than the combined widths of the arms in order to allow the jaws of the bench vise to close against the arms, a spring for holding the crimping jaws open for facilitating the positioning of a portion of a circle clamp therebetween, and an alignment bolt for holding the crimping tool within the jaws of the bench vise whereby the crimping jaws extend beyond the jaws of the bench vise.
