Abstract:
A mobile terminal includes: a storage section storing pieces of schedule information indicating respective user's schedules in which planned activities are assigned to respective scheduled dates and times; an incoming contact detection section that detects an incoming contact on the mobile terminal; a date and time information acquisition section that acquires date and time information indicating a current date and time on detection of the incoming contact; a schedule information acquisition section that acquires a piece of schedule information at a scheduled date and time based on the acquired date and time information; an alert operation attribute determining section that determines from the acquired piece of schedule information an alert operation attribute with which the planned activity is associated; and an alert operation control processing section that controls an alert operation notifying the user of the incoming contact according to the determined alert operation attribute.
Abstract:
The memory area managing unit 22 (a) sets a protect flag to each virtual area allocated in a virtual memory space, the protect flag indicating whether a use of the virtual area has been finished or not, and (b) when a part or all of a first virtual area would overlap another second virtual area due to expansion or movement of the first virtual area, allows the expansion or the movement of the first virtual area accompanying with overlapping the second virtual area, if the protect flag of the second virtual area indicates that a use of the second virtual area has been finished. If the expansion or the movement is allowed, the memory pool managing unit 23 adds a physical area in a physical memory space corresponding to an overlapping part of the first and second virtual areas into a memory pool to map to another virtual area.
Abstract:
An information display system includes a word recognition device, a server, and a plurality of terminals. The server includes a first communication circuit, a dictionary, and a first control circuit. The first control circuit transmits the received word and the searched explanation to the plurality of terminals. The plurality of terminals each include a second communication circuit, an operation circuit, a display circuit, a storage circuit, and a second control circuit. When receiving the word and the explanation of the word from the server, the second control circuit causes the display circuit to display the received word and causes the storage circuit to store the received explanation. When accepting a selection of the displayed word via the operation circuit, the second control circuit obtains the explanation corresponding to the selected word from the storage circuit to cause the display circuit to display the obtained explanation.
Abstract:
A portable apparatus includes an image capturing device, a display device, an indoor image acquisition unit, an apparatus position acquisition unit, an apparatus information acquisition unit, and a display control unit. The indoor image acquisition unit acquires an indoor image of a building having a plurality of floors. The apparatus position acquisition unit acquires a position of an electronic apparatus in real space. The apparatus information acquisition unit acquires apparatus information on the electronic apparatus. The display control unit causes the display device to display a composite image formed by combining additional information based on the apparatus information with a to-be-combined image, while linking the additional information to a position of the electronic apparatus in the to-be-combined image, this position corresponding to a relationship between the position of the electronic apparatus in real space and a position of the portable apparatus in real space.
Abstract:
Provided are an image forming apparatus capable of setting a printing size of a margin by using a preview displayed in an enlarged manner, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. When a pinch-in operation performed with respect to a particular region at a left end in a whole page preview displayed on a display section has been accepted, an MFP displays a left end preview in an enlarged manner to be larger in size than the particular region at the left end in the whole page preview. When a left-to-right swipe operation performed with respect to the displayed left end preview has been accepted, the MFP sets a size specified by the swipe operation as a printing size of a margin of a page as a target of the preview, and displays a whole page preview and a left end preview, both reflecting a margin having the set size.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a touch panel that detects operation point coordinates of touch input by a user and a line-of-sight detection section that calculates the coordinates of a gaze point on the touch panel at which a line of sight of the user is directed in a specific time range from a time point of the touch input on the touch panel by the user. The electronic device further includes a line-of-sight correction area calculation section that calculates a line-of-sight correction area in a specific range from the coordinates of the gaze point on the touch panel. The electronic device also includes an operation coordinate line-of-sight correction section that a) changes the operation point coordinates to the coordinates of the gaze point if the operation point coordinates are within the line-of-sight correction area; and b) does not change the operation point coordinates if the operation point coordinates are not within the line-of-sight correction area.
Abstract:
An electronic device includes a touch panel, a time information obtaining section, and an authentication section. The time information obtaining section obtains time information for user authentication. The authentication section executes user authentication based on the time information obtained by the time information obtaining section. The time information obtaining section changes the time information according to a user's touch duration on the touch panel and changes an amount of change in time that the time information indicates according to a user's manner of touching the touch panel.
Abstract:
Provided is an electronic device, including: a display unit that displays, on one screen, a plurality of objects to be selected by a user; a line-of-sight detection unit that detects visually-recognized coordinates on the display unit to which the user's line-of-sight is directed; an object visually-recognized time period calculation unit that calculates a time period during which the visually-recognized coordinates detected by the line-of-sight detection unit fall within a range of the object; and a selection exclusion unit that excludes the object from candidates to be selected by the user if the time period calculated by the object visually-recognized time period calculation unit is longer than a time period threshold value and a frequency at which the object is selected is higher than a frequency threshold value.

Abstract:
A non-transitory computer-readable recording medium that stores a document evaluation program executable by a computer in a document evaluation apparatus includes first program code that causes the computer to determine that a plurality of pages from each of which the same type of object has been detected are in the same group and to detect the plurality of pages in the same group from the document, second program code that causes the computer to evaluate consistency in the plurality of pages, in the same group, that have been detected by the first program code, and third program code that causes the computer to display an evaluation result obtained by the second program code.
