    摘要： An input apparatus includes an input unit via which a user can point specific coordinates on a screen, and a display unit for displaying a graphical user interface (GUI). A menu for selecting an arbitrary item from a plurality of items is displayed on the GUI. When the user conducts manipulation to move a location of coordinates pointed by the user on the screen so as to draw a circle, center coordinates of a circle locus of the manipulation are presumed regardless of the location of the coordinates. An item selected in the menu is moved so as to be associated with a rotation angle of the manipulation with respect to the center coordinates. The user can conduct selection manipulation of consecutive menu items without depending upon the location of coordinates pointed by the user on the screen.

    摘要： A focal plane shutter device which, regardless of the number of times of operation, does not lose precision of operation. The shutter device has bend portions disposed in drive arms which drive shutter blades. The convex portions of the bend portions (ridge portions) face an adjacent shutter baseplate side. These bend portions reduce or eliminate friction as between caulking pins connecting blades to the drive arms, thereby increasing reliability.

    摘要： A video telephone system which includes a master video telephone terminal (secretary terminal) connected to a communication network and slave video telephone terminals (executive terminals) connected to the master video telephone terminal in which the master video telephone terminal can transfer a call to the slave video telephone terminals. When a call comes into the secretary terminal from a remote terminal on the communication network, a line control section of the secretary terminal sets up a line. Video data and speech data received on the line are decoded by a video signal coding-decoding section and an aural signal coding-decoding section and the decoded signals are output through a display and a speech output device. Sound and images picked up by a microphone and a camera respectively are coded for transmission. Then, if a predetermined instruction of call transfer to an executive terminal is entered on an electronic tablet of the secretary terminal, a communication branch control section of the secretary terminal calls the executive terminal, sets up a line between the secretary and executive terminals on a local transmission network, and connects the line between the secretary terminal and the remote terminal.
