摘要： There are provided systems and methods for user interface and identification in a medical device. More specifically, in one embodiment, there is provided a pulse oximeter comprising a main unit configured to perform a medical function, and a display coupled to the main unit, the display configured to detect external contact by a stylus with a screen of the display, determine a location on the screen of the contact, wherein the location of the contact corresponds to a command for the medical device, and transmit the command corresponding to the location to the main unit.
