Abstract:
An applicator member for applying a cosmetic product to human keratin materials, including an applicator head having two opposite faces, the applicator head including: a first part having at least one housing, and a second part that is connected to the first part by a hinge and is at least partially engaged in the housing of the first part, wherein the first and second parts are both accessible from each of the faces of the applicator head.
Abstract:
The invention relates to an applicator for applying a product to the nails or to the skin, comprising: a gripping portion, a stem extending from the gripping portion along a longitudinal axis X-X, and an applicator member fixed in a housing at the free end of the stem. According to the invention, the stem of the applicator has, along the axis X-X, a succession of noncircular cross sections that are angularly offset with respect to one another about said axis X-X so as to form a helical pattern.
Abstract:
Container devices, kits, and methods for mixing a heterogeneous composition prior to, during, and/or after use of the composition. A container includes an agitator element disposed in a guide inside the container, as well as an applicator for carrying and applying the composition to a surface. The agitator element is movably disposed within the guide, such that during agitation of the container, the agitator element controllably moves along the guide, through the composition, to mix the composition and increase uniformity of the composition for use. The guide prevents contact of the agitator element with the applicator to prevent damage to the applicator or flocking during agitation. The container is suited for use with cosmetic compositions that can be mixed for use.
Abstract:
An applicator for applying a cosmetic, makeup or care, product to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows, having an applicator member having: a core that extends along a longitudinal axis, and at least one bow of which the ends are attached to the core, the bow carrying application elements and extending in a twist around the longitudinal axis of the core, the distance between the bow and the longitudinal axis of the core, measured perpendicularly to the core, being variable along the core and passing through a maximum away from the ends for attaching the bow to the core.
Abstract:
An applicator for applying a cosmetic make-up or cosmetic care product to the eyelashes and/or the eyebrows, said applicator comprising a rod and an application member at one end of the rod, the application member being produced by moulding a material and comprising a non-twisted core extending along a longitudinal axis and application elements carried by the core and arranged in a plurality of helical rows about the longitudinal axis of the core, the application member having at least one helical strip extending over more than half a revolution about the longitudinal axis of the core, which strip is free of application elements and delimited by two consecutive helical rows of application elements extending parallel to each other, the gap between said two consecutive helical rows of application elements being greater than the average gap between the application elements within said helical rows.
Abstract:
The invention concerns an applicator for applying a product to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows, comprising a moulded application member which includes: a core with a longitudinal axis; teeth each extending outwards from the core in the direction of a free end of the tooth; at least one tooth, preferably a row of teeth, particularly preferably all the teeth, having, in elevation, a dissymmetrical shape and a convex edge, the tooth or teeth tapering both over at least part of the height thereof upwards and towards the convex edge.
Abstract:
Applicator for applying makeup to and/or caring for human keratin fibres, having a stem that extends along a longitudinal axis and is connected at one end to a gripping member and at the other end to an applicator member, the latter extending along a longitudinal axis that is not parallel to the longitudinal axis of the stem, and having a hollow support of elongate overall shape including two opposite longitudinal arms that define an opening between one another and meet at the distal end of the applicator member, and at least one bridge of material that extends transversely to the longitudinal axis of the applicator member and is connected to said arms of the support, protruding from the opening on the opposite side from the recess of the elbow formed by the applicator member and the stem.
Abstract:
An applicator for applying a product to the eyelashes and/or eyebrows, has a moulded applicator member. The applicator member has a core that extends along a longitudinal axis, teeth that narrow in front view in the direction of their free end and have at least one edge having a point of inflection.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a device for applying a cosmetic composition (P) to the lips, comprising: —an applicator member (8) comprising a partially flocked applicator head (9) —a container containing the composition which is in the form of an emulsion comprising: ∘water; ∘at least one film-forming agent chosen from vinyl polymers comprising at least one carbosiloxane dendrimer-based unit; ∘at least one polar non-volatile hydrocarbon-based oil; ∘at least one non-volatile phenyl silicone oil, preferably without dimethicone fragment. The invention also relates to a process for making up and/or caring for the lips, in which said composition is applied to the lips by means of the device previously described.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to an assembly (1) for packaging and applying a liquid cosmetic product (P) comprising, on the one hand, a body forming a reservoir (3) which is intended to contain the cosmetic product (P) to be applied and, on the other hand, an applicator comprising an application member (5) that defines a convex application surface (50) having at least one apex (51); the body (2) which forms the reservoir comprising a housing capable of receiving the application member (5) and of which a dividing wall (8) with the reservoir has at least one through-orifice (9) in direct fluid communication with the reservoir, said orifices being located only at at least one end wall of the housing opposite the vicinity of an apex of the application member when said application member is in place in the housing of the body which forms a reservoir, characterized in that the application member is produced from an open-cell porous material.
