Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an organic light emitting diode where an emissive layer comprises a first compound fused with multiple aromatic and heteroaromatic rings and a second compound and an organic light emitting device comprising the diode. The first compound has a wide plate-like structure so that the first compound receives efficiently exciton energy from the second compound. The luminous efficiency, luminous lifespan and color purity of the organic light emitting diode and the organic light emitting device may be improved by introducing the first and second compounds into the emissive layer.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an organic compound having the following structure, and an organic light emitting diode (OLED) and an organic light emitting device including the organic compound. The organic compound can be a bipolar compound having a p-type moiety and an n-type moiety and has high energy level and proper energy bandgap for an emissive layer of the OLED. As the organic compound is applied into the emissive layer, the OLED can maximize its luminous properties as holes and electrons are recombined uniformly over the whole area in an emitting material layer (EML).

Abstract: An organic light emitting diode is described, which includes a reflective electrode, a transparent electrode facing the reflective electrode, and an organic light emitting layer. The organic light emitting layer includes a first emitting part and a second emitting part, and is positioned between the reflective electrode and the transparent electrode. The first emitting part includes a phosphorescent emitting layer and a fluorescent emitting layer, and the second emitting part includes a phosphorescent emitting layer and a fluorescent emitting layer. In at least one of the first and second emitting parts, the fluorescent emitting layer is positioned to be closer to the transparent electrode than the phosphorescent emitting layer. An organic light emitting device can include the organic light emitting diode, and may be a display device or a lighting device.
