    Abstract: A compressor includes a casing that defines an oil storage space and an opening that discharges refrigerant to an outside of the casing, a rotatable shaft disposed in the casing, a driver coupled to an inner circumferential surface of the casing and configured to rotate the rotatable shaft, a compression assembly coupled to the rotatable shaft and configured to compress and discharge the refrigerant to an inside of the casing, a muffler coupled to the compression assembly and configured to guide the refrigerant discharged from the compression assembly toward the opening, where the muffler being is configured to exchange heat with the refrigerant, and a heat radiating member that is coupled to the muffler and extends to the oil storage space and contacts the oil in the oil storage space. The muffler is configured to exchange heat with the oil through the heat radiating member.

    Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided that may include an orbiting scroll having an orbiting wrap, and which performs an orbiting motion; and a fixed scroll having a fixed wrap to form a compression chamber including a suction chamber, an intermediate pressure chamber, and a discharge chamber, by being engaged with the orbiting wrap. A wrap thickness of the fixed wrap may be greater than a wrap thickness of the orbiting wrap within a range which forms the suction chamber. With such a configuration, even if the fixed scroll or the orbiting scroll is thermally-expanded, a transformation of the fixed wrap at a suction side may be prevented. This may prevent a gap between the fixed wrap and the orbiting wrap at an opposite side to the suction side, thereby enhancing compression efficiency.

    Abstract: A scroll compressor is provided capable of supplying oil stored in an oil storage chamber upward through a rotary shaft to supply the oil to a compression device and to lubricate a bearing portion. The scroll compressor may include a casing, a drive motor, a rotary shaft, a main frame, a fixed scroll, and an orbiting scroll. A medium pressure chamber may be formed in or at a middle of the main frame, the fixed scroll, and the orbiting scroll. A pocket groove configured to guide oil discharged through the oil hole to the medium pressure chamber may be formed in an upper surface of the orbiting scroll, and a differential pressure path configured to guide the oil guided to the medium pressure chamber to the compression chamber may be provided in the fixed scroll.
