Abstract: A clothing treatment apparatus including: a cabinet; a tub disposed inside the cabinet and providing a space in which water is stored; a drum rotatably provided inside the tub; and a pump having a supply port connected to the tub, and a discharge port connected to an outside of the cabinet is provided. The pump includes: a housing; a first chamber disposed inside the housing and communicating with the supply port; a second chamber disposed inside the housing and communicating with the discharge port; a first partition for separating the first chamber and the second chamber; a chamber communicating hole formed in the first partition and communicating the first chamber and the second chamber; an impeller rotatably provided in the second chamber; and a second partition located in the first chamber and extending downward from a first surface of the housing, which provides an upper boundary of the first chamber.
