摘要:
The disclosure relates to a spacer for dental implants of a bio-compatible material. The spacer includes an inner sleeve-shaped spacer element (4) of titanium which is part of a screw connection between an anchorage element (fixture) (1) implanted in the maxillary beneath the gingiva, and a dental prosthesis construction whose joint surface (11) is located above the gingiva and which is disposed to absorb the loading of the screw connection. The spacer further includes an outer spacer sleeve (12) of porcelain or ceramics which wholly or partly encloses the inner sleeve-like spacer element (4). The ceramic or porcelain sleeve may, by grinding and coating with porcelain of different colors, by caused by visually approximate a dental cervix and gingiva and, thereby, not contrast with the natural dental cervix color and gingival color to the same extent as does the titanium material.

A ceramic one-piece implant is provided that comprises a first portion and a second portion that are integrally formed with each other. The first portion can be arranged at a coronal end of the implant for fitting engagement with a dental restoration to the implant. The second portion can contiguously adjoin the first portion at a coronal edge. Further, the second portion can have a width and be arranged apically from the coronal end of the implant. The second portion can also be devised for arrangement in epithelial contact with soft tissue upon implantation of the dental implant. Furthermore, a curvature including the coronal edge can be adjustable by removal of material at least from the second portion while the width of the shoulder is substantially maintained.

A spacer (3) with associated adapter (4) is designed to be fitted on an implant (1). The adapter comprises first and second portions (4b, 4c) designed to cooperate with the spacer and the implant, respectively, for securing the spacer on the implant. The adapter is completely enclosed by the spacer and the implant, and the first portion of the adapter can be designed with slits for forming resilient elements on said portion and/or with penetrating parts which, when the adapter and the spacer are joined together, are deformed as it penetrates into opposite parts in the spacer material. The spacer and the adapter can in this way be easily held together upon application to the implant and can be taken apart when completion work is performed on the spacer.

The invention relates to a spacing member for a tooth implant, comprising a base portion for attachment to a fixture implanted in the jawbone, and an upper part with an essentially conical outer limit surface for attachment to a tooth prosthesis. The base portion comprises a through hole for a spacing screw which is intended to engage with an internally threaded bore in the upper portion of the fixture and thereby form a first screw connection for locking the spacing member securely in a defined direction of deflection in relation to the fixture. The upper part comprises a second screw connection for attachment of the tooth prosthesis, which screw connection forms a fixed angle .delta. in relation to the first screw connection. The upper part of the inlet opening for the through hole which is formed in the conical outer limit surface in the upper part of the spacing member, and through which opening the spacing screw is intended to be introduced during assembly, is offset towards the line of symmetry of the through hole. In this way, the height of the spacer can be kept low, even in those cases where the fixed angle .delta. between the two screw connections is comparatively small, preferably within the range of 15.degree.-25.degree..

This method increases the precision of the components in an impression system for dental prosthesis of the type permanently anchored in the jaw by at least one securing elements implanted in the jawbone. Each of the securing elements is provided with a distance member whose upper part protrudes above the palatal arch and on which the finished dental bridge/dental prosthesis is then anchored via a so-called gold cylinder. The system includes impression components in the form of impression tops and distance dummies with continuous guide holes and stop members for a guide pin which, during fixing of the components, is guided through the respective guide hole and engages with the stop members of the respective impression component. That part of the guide pin which interacts with the stop members of the guide holes of the respective impression component has a conical stop surface, while the stop members form plane surfaces and guide edges. By such a design of the guide pin, the components are centered and the precision is improved in existing impression systems.

A screw-shaped titanium anchoring member for permanent anchorage in bone tissue, specifically permanent anchorage of artificial teeth or tooth bridges in the jaw-bone, comprises at least one cavity located at the forward tip of the screw, the edges of the at least one cavity on the outer threaded cylindrical surface forming cutting tooth with cutting edge to provide self-tapping when the anchoring member is screwed into a bored hole in the bone tissue and the total volume of the at least one cavity being adapted to contain the scraped-off bone tissue material. The anchoring member on the outer cylindrical surface of the cutting tooth, a short distance behind its cutting edge, is provided with a clearance surface defined on the outer surface of the anchoring member, which when seen in a cross-section through the cutting part of the anchoring member, is slightly bevelled a short distance behind the threaded cutting edge.

An implant is provided with an upper portion in which an internal socket extends. The implant can be tightened by a turning instrument which has first lateral surfaces that can cooperate with corresponding second lateral surfaces in the internal socket. One or more of the first and/or second lateral surfaces is/are arranged completely or partially with friction-enhancing means. The implant and the tool are arranged with interacting parts which extend beyond the first and second lateral surfaces and completely or substantially take up bending moments which act in or on said portion or are directed toward said portion and occur in the event of skewing, or a tendency toward skewing, between the implant and the tool. The arrangement counteracts mechanical stresses in said portion, the latter being able to retain its original shape even in the case of implants with small dimensions.
