摘要: The present invention is an electrophotographic transfer paper having a coating layer containing a pigment and a binder on at least one side of a base paper comprising a pulp and a filler, and excellent transport characteristics in high-speed copy machines and printers. 30 wt % or more of the pigment is kaolin having a particle size distribution wherein 65% or more particles are in a range of 0.4-4.2 μm based on volume, and/or delaminated clay having an average particle size of 3.5-20 μm. The clark stiffness in the CD direction of the electrophotographic transfer paper is 20 cm3/100 or more.

摘要: The present invention aims to provide a cast-coated paper having good coated paper quality and printability combined with the property of decomposing hazardous substances upon exposure to light.A cast-coated paper prepared by applying a cast-coating layer based on a pigment and a binder on abase paper and finished by pressing the cast-coating layer in the wet state against a heated cast drum surface and drying it, wherein the cast-coating layer contains 1-30 parts by weight of titanium dioxide having an average secondary particle diameter of 300-2000 nm per 100 parts by weight of the pigment and the titanium dioxide is premixed with a silica sol or alumina sol at a ratio of the titanium dioxide to the silica sol or alumina sol of 2:1-1:2.

摘要: Herein provided are processes for preparing coated printing paper having good print quality by spray coating. Specifically, a coated printing paper is prepared by a process for preparing a coated printing paper having one or more coating layers on at least one side of a base paper, comprising the steps of: preparing a spray coating solution containing a pigment and an binder including a starch, wherein (a) the starch is present at 30-100% by weight of the total amount of the binder, and (b) the Brookfield viscosity measured at 30° C., 100 rpm is 300 mPa·s or less; and applying the coating solution by spray coating to form the outermost coating layer.

摘要: The present invention provides methods for producing a base paper for coated printing paper and a coated paper by neutral papermaking using a roll and blade gap former type paper machine including a drainage mechanism based on a drainage blade immediately downstream of initial drainage via a forming roll, comprising adding a cationic polyacrylamide-based material having a weight-average molecular weight of 10,000,000 or more determined by intrinsic viscosity measurement as a retention aid to a stock to convert it into paper. According to the present invention, the retention, formation and internal bond strength of the stock can be improved. In the present invention, an anionic microparticle and/or a coagulant can also be used.
