    摘要: Focusing methods, apparatus, and computer-readable recording media having recorded thereon the focusing methods are disclosed. In an example focusing method, a focus evaluation value is divided into first information and second information. The first information represents a difference between focus evaluation values, which are obtained according to location of a focus lens, to be relatively large, and the second information represents the difference to be relatively small. Then, at least one from among the first information and the second information is provided to a user so that the user may easily and more accurately determine whether a subject is in focus.

    摘要: An automatic focus adjusting apparatus of a camera comprises three CCD sensors receiving light from an object, a focus detecting apparatus for outputting a focus signal indicative of the focusing state of a photographic lens based on output data from the respective CCD sensors, a calculating apparatus for calculating an amount of driving the photographic lens based on the focus signal, a selector for selecting one of the three CCD sensors, a correcting apparatus for correcting the amount of driving calculated based on the output data from the selected CCD sensor, and a driving apparatus for driving the photographic lens to an in-focus position based on the corrected driving amount. An error in foucs detection incidental to the driving of the lens can be corrected based only on the data from one CCD sensor selected by a selector, so that the focusing error on a moving object can be eliminated in a simple manner.

    摘要: In an automatic focus detection device for use in a camera, a focus condition detecting unit detects a focus condition of a photographic lens in a camera based on the output of a light receiving device and calculates the amount of defocus of the photographic lens. An auxiliary light emitting device emits auxiliary light and comparator compares the stored output of memory and the output of the light receiving device under the ambient light; and then the detected defocus amount under the auxiliary light emission is corrected in accordance with the result of comparison so as to eliminate the bad effect of the color aberration of the lens of the camera, whereby a correct focus position can be detected.
