    摘要: An image transfer method is disclosed, characterized in for the preparation of a color proof wherein separate-in-color images are formed in each colored photosensitive layer of photosensitive material coated on a thermosensitive adhesive layer on a release surface provided on a support from which the thermosensitive adhesive layer is releasable, and a multicolor image is formed on an image receiver by transferring said separate-in-color images onto said image receiver one by one together with said adhesive layer, repeating concurrent heating and pressurizing procedures, and thereafter further submitting the image receiver with the multicolor image formed thereon to heat treatment.

    摘要: Disposed is a jet mill that has a cylindrical pulverization chamber (10) and a classification chamber (6) that connects to the pulverization chamber (10). A fine-powder discharge port (4a) and a classification rotor (7) are provided in the classification chamber (6). A feedstock supply port (5) and at least one gas emission nozzle (11) are provided in the pulverization chamber (10). The shape of the classification chamber (6) is a cone that starts on the inner wall of the pulverization chamber (10), and is angled towards the classification rotor (7). This configuration gives the jet mill high efficiency of pulverization and reduces the amount of powders left in the chamber when the jet mill has finished running.

    摘要: A VCSEL includes a first conductivity-type first semiconductor mirror layer on a substrate, an active region thereon, a second conductivity-type second semiconductor mirror layer thereon, and a current confining layer in proximity to the active region. A mesa structure is formed such that at least a side surface of the current confining layer is exposed. The current confining layer includes a first semiconductor layer having an Al-composition and a second semiconductor layer having an Al-composition and being formed nearer to the active region than the first semiconductor layer does. Al concentration of the first semiconductor layer is higher than that of the second semiconductor layer. When oscillation wavelength of laser light is λ, optical thickness being sum of the thickness of the first and second semiconductor layers is λ/4. The first and second semiconductor layers are selectively oxidized from the side surface of the mesa structure.

    摘要: A surface emitting semiconductor laser is formed from a substrate having a first mirror formed thereon. The first mirror includes semiconductor layers of a first conductivity type. A second mirror is formed over the substrate and includes semiconductor layers of a second conductivity type. An active region is disposed between the first and second mirrors, with a current confining layer being disposed between the first and second mirrors. A compound semiconductor layer is formed over the second mirror and an electrode is formed on the compound semiconductor layer. A protective film covers the compound semiconductor layer and partially covers the electrode. The electrode is formed by a lift-off process and uses an opening-pattern that is formed by plasma ashing.
