    摘要： A display medium includes: a first substrate having transparency and provided with a transparent electrode on one face thereof, a member having a plurality of penetration holes, the member being placed on a surface of the transparent electrode, the penetration holes penetrating the member from the transparent electrode surface side, the ratio of the length of each of the penetration holes to the largest hole diameter being two or more; a second substrate placed so as to face the transparent electrode side of the first substrate; an electrolytic solution containing a metal ion and placed so as to fill a space between the first and second substrates; and a counter electrode placed in a position so as to be insulated from the transparent electrode and in contact with the electrolytic solution.

    摘要： An image forming method includes forming at least one electrostatic charge image on at least one image holding member, developing the at least one electrostatic charge image using a black toner and a color toner to form toner images, transferring toner images to a receiving body, and fixing the toner images by light-irradiation fusing, the black toner being melted in the light-irradiation fusing, the color toner containing an infrared absorber, a light absorptance of the color toner at a peak wavelength of the light irradiated in the light-irradiation fusing being from about 79% to about 98% of a light absorptance of the black toner at the peak wavelength, and the color difference ΔE of the color toner due to the presence or absence of the infrared absorber is in a specific range.

    摘要： According to an aspect of the invention, a laser fixing device includes a laser beam generating device and an airflow generating unit. The laser beam generating device generates laser beams and irradiates a recording medium transported with the laser beams. The airflow generating unit generates airflow flowing between the laser beam generating device and the recording medium. A flow speed of the airflow in a transport direction of the recording medium in an irradiation position of the laser beams is higher than a transport speed of the recording medium.
