Abstract: Various aspects or embodiments of fingerprint sensing are described, for use in fingerprint sensing, for example, over a portion or whole of a screen of a computing device, such as smart phones, tablet computers or other information processing devices. An electronic module, computing apparatus, and a panel are provided. The electronic module includes a slew rate configuring circuit to generate and transmit at least one output signal to a gate on array (GOA) circuit of the panel; and a fingerprint sensing control circuit, coupled to fingerprint sensing elements of the panel, to generate and transmit control signals to the GOA circuit, wherein the fingerprint sensing control circuit controls the GOA circuit to generate reset signals according to the at least one output signal to reset the fingerprint sensing elements respectively and the slew rate configuring circuit controls a slew rate of a falling edge of each reset signal.

Abstract: A method for fingerprint sensing of an electronic module capable of fingerprint sensing, the electronic module for being coupled to a plurality of fingerprint sensing pixels, the electronic module including an analog front-end stage for being coupled to the fingerprint sensing pixels, the method comprising the following steps. A first scanning operation is performed on at least a first portion of the fingerprint sensing pixels by using a first reference signal being applied to a reference terminal of the analog front-end stage to obtain a level of a second reference signal which is based on a sensing result of the first scanning operation and is different from the first reference signal. A second scanning operation is performed on at least a second portion of the fingerprint sensing pixels by using the second reference signal being applied to the reference terminal of the analog front-end stage.

Abstract: A fingerprint detection device comprises a plurality of fingerprint sensing circuits and a processor. The plurality of fingerprint sensing circuits is corresponding to a plurality of sensing zones respectively. The processor is electrically coupled to the fingerprint sensing circuits through a shared transmission bus. The processor is configured to receive information of a touched area of each of the sensing zones, determine a transmission sequence according to the touched area of each of the sensing zones, and control the fingerprint sensing circuits to transmit sensing information of the corresponding sensing zones to the processor through the shared transmission bus according to the transmission sequence.

Abstract: A fingerprint sensing method and a fingerprint sensing device are provided. The fingerprint sensing method includes the following steps. A first supply voltage is provided to power a fingerprint sensing circuit of the fingerprint sensing circuit. When the fingerprint sensing circuit is powered by the first supply voltage, it is detected whether a finger touch occurs. In response to determining that the finger touch has occurred, a second supply voltage is provided to power the fingerprint sensing device. A fingerprint image sensing is performed to obtain a fingerprint image when the fingerprint sensing circuit is powered by the second supply voltage.

Abstract: An optical fingerprint sensing apparatus, a driver apparatus, and an operation method are provided. The driver apparatus includes a display driving device and a fingerprint sensing driving device. The display driving device drives the display panel to display different frames with different luminances, and the different frames are used to generate at least one of different transmitted light intensities and different reflected light intensities. The fingerprint sensing driving device drives the display panel to perform a fingerprint capturing operation to capture a plurality of different fingerprint images of a finger under the at least one of the different transmitted light intensities and the different reflected light intensities. The different fingerprint images are processed to generate a processed fingerprint image.

Abstract: An image sensing circuit includes a plurality of readout circuits and a pre-charge control circuit. Each of the readout circuits is coupled to a sensing line among a plurality of sensing lines and configured to receive a sensing voltage among a plurality of sensing voltages through the corresponding sensing line, wherein at least one of the readout circuits is further configured to receive at least one first pre-scan voltage through the corresponding sensing line prior to reception of the sensing voltage. The pre-charge control circuit, coupled to the readout circuits, is configured to perform a plurality of steps. The steps include receiving the at least one first pre-scan voltage from the at least one readout circuit; calculating a first pre-charge voltage according to the at least one first pre-scan voltage; and pre-charging the sensing lines to the first pre-charge voltage before the readout circuits receive the sensing voltages.

Abstract: A fingerprint sensing apparatus having a three-dimensional (3-D) sensing mechanism that includes optical fingerprint sensing circuits and a processing circuit is provided. Abstract: A fingerprint sensing apparatus having a large-area sensing mechanism is provided that includes at least three optical fingerprint sensing circuits and a processing circuit. The at least three optical fingerprint sensing circuits are configured to perform sensing within a plurality of sensing areas to obtain a plurality of sensed images, wherein each of the sensing areas corresponds to one of the optical fingerprint sensing circuits. The processing circuit is electrically coupled to the optical fingerprint sensing circuits to receive the sensed images and is configured to splice the sensed images together to form an integrated sensed image.
