摘要: The input stage of an operational amplifier includes at least four signal-receiving stages adapted to receive four primary input signals. If the voltage level associated with any of the input signal changes, at least one transistor in each of the at least four signal-receiving stages conducts more current and at least one transistor in each of these stages conducts less current. The four signal-receiving stages collectively generate at least four intermediate signals that are delivered to the output stage of the differential amplifier, which in response, generates a pair of differential output signals. Two of the input signals are derived from the pair of differential output signals and are fed back to control the amplifier.

摘要: An apparatus, system, and method are provided for causing a failed node in a cluster to transfer its outstanding transaction queue to one or more surviving nodes. The heartbeat of the various cluster nodes is used to monitor the nodes within the cluster as the heartbeat is a dedicated link between the cluster nodes. If a failure is detected anywhere within the cluster node (such as a network section, hardware failure, storage device, or interconnections) then a failover procedure will be initiated. The failover procedure includes transferring the transaction queue from the failed node to one or more other nodes within the cluster so that the transactions can be serviced, preferably before a time out period, so that clients are not prompted to re-request the transaction.

摘要: A system and method for providing reliable access by a plurality of user systems in a computer network to data in a centralized storage system. The method includes the steps of placing all storage subunits of the centralized storage system in a default locked state wherein data stored in the storage subunits is not accessible by any user system, providing a user system with an initial key corresponding to a storage subunit, and the user system using the initial key to assign the storage subunit to itself so that no other user system can access data stored therein. When so assigned the storage subunit cannot be reassigned to another user system until the storage subunit has been placed back in the default locked state. One manner of implementing the above steps is using SCSI commands.

摘要: A solid precursor delivery assembly generally includes a container having upper and lower portions and chambers defined within the container, including an inlet chamber, an outlet chamber, and first and second precursor chambers. The first and second precursor chambers are configured for holding precursor material within the container. Sintered frits are fixedly coupled and sealed to an interior portion of the container, and define at least part of the chambers within the container. At least one of the sintered frits is configured for retaining precursor material thereon within the first precursor chamber, and at least one of the sintered frits is configured for retaining precursor material thereon within the second precursor chamber. An inlet is coupled to the container for delivering carrier gas into the container, and an outlet is coupled to the container for use in removing vaporized precursor material and carrier gas from the container.

摘要: A method of image-guided radiotherapy for treatment of a radio-resistant or radio-sensitive tumor. A three-dimensional visualized tumor image is obtained and the boundary of the tumor is identified. A boosted radiation dose of treatment is designated and applied to a boost region within the tumor boundary. A predetermined prescribed radiation dose is simultaneously applied with the boosted radiation dose within the tumor boundary and in a planning target volume region, which is outside of the tumor boundary. The boosted radiation dose outside of the boost region decreases at a boost dose decreasing rate such that the boosted radiation dose is equal to the predetermined prescribed radiation dose at the tumor boundary.

摘要: Access to a cash drawer is controlled by way of a basic input-output system (BIOS) of an associated computer. The BIOS can provide for local user access to the cash drawer by way of password, designated keystroke, or other procedure. A local or remote user can reconfigure cash drawer access procedures, establish time clock-based scheduling, or affect other control parameters by way of graphical user interface (GUI) stored in the BIOS. Cash drawer security, management options and user convenience are improved accordingly.
