摘要： A data processing apparatus comprises process means for executing a predetermined process based on the input instruction, connection means for connection with an external device, display means for displaying information based on the data received from the external device through the connection means, discrimination means for discriminating whether the input by the instruction input means has not been executed for a predetermined period. Control means causes the display means to execute display based on the data received from the external device through the connection means, in case the discrimination means judges that the input instruction has not been executed for the predetermined period.
