Abstract: A conductive polymer microparticle dispersion contains a solvent, and polythiophene microparticles dispersed in the solvent. The polymerization unit of the polythiophene is one of thiophene and derivatives thereof, and the polythiophene contains a polyanion as a dopant. The conductive polymer microparticle dispersion has a pH value of 3 or greater and contains a solvent-insoluble iron compound containing iron with a concentration of 450 ppm or less.
