Abstract: An imaging apparatus allows a user to register a setting of a predetermined function. The imaging apparatus includes a storage part configured to store setting information including a base setting which is a content of the setting registered by the user regarding the setting of the predetermined function; and a controller configured to change the setting information in accordance with an instruction by the user, and thereafter, to return a content of the changed setting information to the base setting at a predetermined timing. The controller sets a predetermined timing based on an instruction by the user.

Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes an imager, an operator, and a controller. The operator sets an exposure correction value and a continuous shooting mode including a first continuous shooting mode and a second continuous shooting mode in which continuous shooting is performed at a higher speed than in the first continuous shooting mode. The controller is configured to determine whether the exposure correction value is within a predetermined range when the second continuous shooting mode is set in the operator. The controller is configured to perform the auto exposure control during continuous shooting operation in the second continuous shooting mode when determined that the exposure correction value is within the predetermined range. The controller is configured not to perform the auto exposure control during the continuous shooting operation in the second continuous shooting mode when determined that the exposure correction value is not within the predetermined range.

Abstract: An imaging apparatus includes: an imager to capture a subject image to generate an image signal; an image processor to perform predetermined processing on the image signal to generate image data; a display to display luminance level information showing a luminance level in the image; an operation receiver to input a user operation; and a controller to control the display and the operation receiver. The image processor generates the image data using a predetermined gamma curve in which a light amount in the image signal is associated with a luminance level to compress as the light amount increases. When the operation receiver receives a user operation for setting a luminance level in the luminance level information, the controller controls the display to represent the luminance level by a stop number indicating a scaling rate of a corresponding light amount in the gamma curve.
