Abstract: Provided is a liquid crystal display device with a touch panel, including a fixing member (5A) for fixing the liquid crystal display panel (2) and the backlight unit (4) to each other. The fixing member (5A) includes: a first end portion (51) attached to a peripheral edge portion of the display surface (2a) of the liquid crystal display panel (2), the peripheral edge portion being devoid of the adhesive layer (6); a second end portion (52) attached to an outer surface of the backlight unit (4); and a non-adhesive portion (53) located between the first end portion (51) and the second end portion (52), the non-adhesive portion (53) being brought into contact with the outer surface of the backlight unit (4) and prevented from adhering to the outer surface.
