摘要: A control device module for a motor vehicle includes a control device that has a closed housing in which a first internal pressure prevails, and at least one connecting device for coupling a connecting element of an electrical cable. A closed space is defined in the coupled state between the connecting device and the connecting element, in which closed space a second internal pressure prevails. The control device also includes a pressure compensating device for adapting the first and second internal pressures to an external pressure that acts on the control device module from outside.

摘要: A method is described for measuring a value of a driver quantity of a system, to which a number of system quantities are assigned, each system quantity being assigned at least one property and at least one value, the value of the driver quantity being computed under consideration of the at least one value of the defined system quantities which, on the basis of their at least one property, meet at least one condition. The driver quantity is thus clearly defined yet may be a function of any number of system quantities within the system. Using the driver quantity, a certain aspect within the system may be detected either statically or dynamically, i.e., as a function of time. On this basis statistics may be generated. In addition, this method opens up possibilities for interpretation.

摘要: A work flow system is described in which an originator of a task creates a new task description via a standard graphical user interface. The standard graphical user interface includes information regarding the task, together with a responsible entity for performing a task. An automatic email notification system notifies the responsible entity, whose leader accepts, rejects, or modifies a task, as necessary. Thereupon, the task report for the assigned/rejected/approved/modified item is automatically email reported to the originator and to anyone to whom the task has been assigned. The life cycle of the task is a complete loop such that the originator of the task is the only entity permitted to close the task, and must mandatorily do so for the task to be closed by the data base.

摘要: Two methods check functional capability of electrical connections between address lines of a printed circuit board of a memory module and address line contacts of an integrated semiconductor memory chip mounted on the printed circuit board. Ruptured solder contacts are conventionally examined optically or investigated by electrical resistance measurements; however, the latter do not work in the case of memory modules with a number of semiconductor chips, the pin contacts of which are connected in parallel by the address lines. The methods make it possible to locate interrupted contacts on individual address lines by the indirect use of a write-read access to the semiconductor memory chip, specifically utilizing the misrouting of writing and reading commands produced by defective contact connections.
