摘要: Embodiments disclosed herein can facilitate delivery of a document from a source to a destination over a network where an initial delivery attempt has been unsuccessful. Actions to be taken are based upon input conditions which may include a time-variable set of input conditions such as identifying non-business days and/or hours at the destination. The document can be a fax, an email, or a voice mail. The actions may include resubmitting the document to the network for a next delivery attempt, cancelling the document, sending a request to the source or destination for additional delivery information, identifying the destination as a technical problem, or a combination thereof.

摘要: Devices in which components of medical kits are carried are identifiable by means other than by the naked eye. The means for identification is attached to or integral with the device and may comprise raised and lowered surfaces that can be read by touch; serrations disposed on an edge or surface; a fluorescent coating viewable under infrared or ultraviolet light; or a pattern that is viewable using a thermal imaging device such as night vision goggles. A package for retaining a medical item includes an identifying element of a material that is selectively viewable in response to light attributes of the material. A device for the visual identification of a package containing a medical item includes an identifying element comprising a material that is visually discernible in reduced-light environments via the use of night vision devices.

摘要: A method and apparatus for assisting delivery of fax documents over a value-added network, such as a store-and-forward network. If an initial delivery attempt is unsuccessful, the network automatically sends an e-mail to the sender of the fax document indicating the status of the fax delivery and reasons for the document's non-delivery. The sender of the fax is prompted to choose from selectable options included in the e-mail which provide instructions to resolve the delivery problem. Upon receipt of an e-mail response, the network automatically decodes the selected options and uses the chosen options to resend the fax document and automatically resolve the delivery problem.

摘要: The invention relates to an aircraft fuselage (12) comprising at least one space arranged in the aircraft fuselage and at least one wall (16). According to the invention, the wall resists burnthrough for a period of at least four minutes from outside the aircraft fuselage towards the space, wherein the region of the aircraft fuselage (12) underneath the space does not comprise burnthrough-resistant insulation. The space can be a cargo compartment of the aircraft or a passenger cabin, while the wall can be designed as a cargo compartment floor, passenger cabin floor or wing/fuselage fairing (belly-fairing). The design, according to the invention, of the aircraft fuselage results in burnthrough resistance that meets the requirements of FAR §25.856 (b) without any additional burnthrough-resistant insulation in the aircraft fuselage.
