A touchscreen for a display device may include a top layer, a bottom layer, and a middle layer between the top layer and the bottom layer. The touchscreen may also include a deposited material that extends around a perimeter of the touchscreen. A length of the deposited material has a length that extends from at least a first portion of the top layer to at least a second portion of the bottom layer. The deposited material may form a seal over the middle layer between the touchscreen and an environment of the display device.

Motor drive power conversion systems are provided including a rectifier and a switching inverter, wherein the switching devices of the rectifier, the inverter and/or of a DC/DC converter are silicon carbide switches, such as silicon carbide MOSFETs. Driver circuits are provided for providing bipolar gate drive signals to the silicon carbide MOSFETs, including providing negative gate-source voltage for controlling the off state of enhancement mode low side drivers and positive gate-source voltage for controlling the off state of enhancement mode high side drivers.

The protective cover device is adapted to be engaged with the associated electrical connector to inhibit contact between a surrounding corrosive atmosphere and at least one electrical contact of the associated electrical connector.

The present disclosure includes a motor drive that includes a rectifier module, an inverter module, drive circuitry, and a heat dissipation feature. The heat dissipation feature is at least partially coated with a diamond-like carbon material in accordance with present embodiments. The diamond-like carbon material is configured to cooperate with the heat dissipation feature placement to dissipate heat from the rectifier module, the inverter module, or the drive circuitry.
