Disclosed is an electronic device includes a flexible circuit board passing via a first through-hole included in a first housing and a second through-hole included in a second housing, a first support bracket disposed to support the flexible circuit board while covering the first through-hole, a second support bracket disposed to support the flexible circuit board while covering the second through-hole, a first waterproof member disposed to face a partial area of the first through-hole from the first support bracket and inserted into the partial area of the first through-hole, a second waterproof member inserted into the remaining areas of the first through-hole, a third waterproof member disposed to face a partial area of the second through-hole from the second support bracket and inserted into the partial area of the second through-hole, a fourth waterproof member inserted into the remaining areas of the second through-hole.

A method and an apparatus for validating device-to-device (D2D) communication devices in a server via a mobile terminal are provided. A 1st device-to-device (D2D) communication device includes a communication unit for communicating with a mobile terminal via D2D communication, and a controller. The controller is configured to control the communication unit to transmit digital signature information of the 1st D2D communication device to the mobile terminal, receive, when the digital signature information is successfully authenticated in a server, server public encryption information, from the mobile terminal, and transmit device information of the 1st D2D communication device, which is encrypted using the server public encryption information, to the server, and register the 1st D2D communication device in the server. The method and apparatus reduce user input for registering D2D communication devices in a server, increases user convenience, and decrease authentication time.

An electronic device may: when a first piece of content is acquired, acquire a first score for the relationship between the first piece of content and the privacy of a user of the electronic device, on the basis of information about a person included in the first piece of content and information about an event included in the first piece of content; acquire a second score for the security of each of at least one application which can access the first piece of content; and, when a request for accessing the first piece of content via a first application from among the at least one application is received, determine whether or not to block access to the first piece of content via the first application, on the basis of the first score corresponding to the first piece of content and the second score corresponding to the first application.

An operating method of a mobile device for performing pairing with an electronic device, including receiving a reception wireless signal from the electronic device; in response to determining that a strength of the reception wireless signal is equal to or greater than a proximity threshold for determining proximity to the electronic device, obtaining sensing information about a movement of the mobile device using at least one sensor of the mobile device; adapting a touch threshold for determining a touch with the electronic device, based on the sensing information; and in response to determining that the strength of the reception wireless signal is equal to or greater than the adapted touch threshold, performing the pairing with the electronic device.

An electronic device is disclosed. The electronic device comprises: a camera; a storage unit; and a processor for capturing an image including authentication information of an external electronic device through the camera, acquiring first information related with a public key included in the image and storing the first information in the storage unit, and comparing second information with the first information so as to authenticate the external electronic device when the second information and identification information related with the public key are received from the external electronic device on the basis of a type of first information.

A method, device and chipset for a monitoring device connectable with a sensor device monitoring surroundings thereof. The method includes searching for a sensor device, acquiring images for the surroundings of the monitoring device, registering location information corresponding to the sensor device, discovered through searching, using the images, and registering monitoring information including an operation performed in response to an event occuring in the discovered sensor device. The device includes a camera configured to acquire an image; a communication unit configured to transmit/receive a signal in a wired or wireless manner; a storage unit configured to register information; and a controller configured to search for a sensor device, acquire images for the surroundings of the monitoring device, register location information corresponding to the sensor device, discovered through searching, using the images, and register monitoring information including an operation performed in response to an event occurring in the discovered sensor device.
