Abstract:
A washing machine including a washing tub to allow enhancement in washing efficiency. A washing tub of the washing machine includes a pattern having a protrusion portion to generate friction force between laundry and the washing tub and to thereby increase washing efficiency. The pattern has a concave-convex structure and performs action similar to a lifter, washing efficiency may be enhanced using tumbling generated by the pattern. A plurality of drain holes are arranged in a certain pattern in the washing tub to prevent a dehydration bottleneck phenomenon in which dehydration is concentrated at a particular drain hole and to increase a dehydration rate. The pattern is provided such that protrusion portions and recessed portions continue on the surface of the washing tub to enhance stiffness of the washing tub.
Abstract:
Proposed are a washing machine and a control method therefor, which may allow a user to safely and additionally put laundry in during the operation of the washing machine including an auxiliary door. The washing machine includes an auxiliary door through which laundry is additionally put in, indicates whether additionally putting-in of laundry during the operation of the washing machine is allowed, and enables a user to determine the same, in order to provide an algorithm for safely operating the auxiliary door, and checks a rotation of a drum, a temperature of the inside, and a level of water when it is desired to additionally put laundry in, so as to enable the user to safely put the laundry in. Also, when the user additionally puts laundry in while the washing machine performs a cycle, the washing machine changes a cycle profile for each cycle, and corrects a cycle profile according to an additional put-in point, thereby raising reliability of the user for the washing machine.
Abstract:
A washing machine of the present disclosure includes a cabinet having a first opening and a door assembly provided to open and close the first opening, wherein the door assembly includes a door main body having a second opening provided to be opened and closed independently of the first opening and a rear holder corresponding to the first opening, and the rear holder includes a door sealing unit spaced apart from the second opening and provided to come in contact with the diaphragm to seal the inside of the cabinet when the first opening is closed by a door assembly. By the configuration, the cabinet can be sealed more effectively, and laundry items or detergent may be additionally inserted even during a washing process.

Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a washing machine including a balancer module which is actively driven in a balancer housing to damp load unbalance of the washing machine, a power supplying unit provided at an outside of a tub to supply electric power to the balancer module, and a wire configured to pass through a hollow portion of a rotating shaft of a flange shaft to electrically connect the balancer module and the power supplying unit. The washing machine comprises a slip ring disposed between the rotating balancer module and the fixed power supplying unit to prevent the wire from being twisted. An internal wire disposed in a rotating tub is covered by a waterproofing tube so as to prevent moisture from permeating the internal wire. The hollow portion of the rotating shaft of the flange shaft is sealed by a stopper member and a packing member so as to prevent the moisture from permeating. An external wire disposed at an outside of the tub may be neatly arranged by a guide bracket.
Abstract:
Disclosed is a washing machine having a cabinet forming an outer appearance and having an inlet port formed at the front, a tub provided inside the cabinet for storing wash water, a drum provided inside the tub to be rotatable, and a door installed in the cabinet for opening and closing the inlet port. The door is provided with an auxiliary door which can be freely opened and closed during the washing process independently of the door, so that laundry can be added even during the washing process.

Abstract:
A washing machine with a vibration reducing apparatus is capable of reducing a tub by use of the gyroscopic effect. If the drum is rotated in an imbalanced state where the laundry is positioned at a side of the drum without being uniformly distributed, a biased force is applied to a rotary shaft, and the drum performs an eccentric motion, causing vibration of the tub. The vibration of the tub is increased when the drum rotates at a high speed. The washing machine measures vibration of the tub at the high speed, and generates a vibration restraining force, thereby preventing the vibration from being transmitted to the outside due to a reaction force. The efficiency in reducing the excessive vibration of the tub is enhanced, so that the interval between the tub and the frame is reduced, thereby increasing the capacity of the washing machine.
