    Abstract: An electronic device may include a display including a first area, a second area, and a third area between at least the first area and the second area, a first housing configured to support the first area, a second housing configured to support the second area, and a hinge assembly configured to connect the first housing to the second housing and operate between a folded state in which the first area and the second area face each other and an unfolded state in which the first area and the second area are open. The hinge assembly may include a hinge bracket, a first rotator connected to the first housing and rotatably connected to the hinge bracket based on a first hinge axis, a second rotator connected to the second housing and rotatably connected to the hinge bracket based on a second hinge axis, a slide bracket slidably connected in a first axis direction parallel with the first hinge axis or the second hinge axis by interoperating with rotations of the first rotator and the second rotator, and a detent assembly configured to provide a detent force resisting movement of the slide bracket in the first axis direction.

    Abstract: According to an embodiment, an electronic device comprises: a first housing, a second housing, a hinge module pivotably connecting the first housing and the second housing, and a flexible display disposed from a surface of the first housing through an area where the hinge module is disposed to a surface of the second housing. The hinge module may include: a detent hinge at least partially receiving a pair of rotation shafts and including a cam-shaped cam surface formed in a direction perpendicular to a rotation axis of the rotation shaft, a roller contacting the cam surface and disposed to rotate corresponding to the cam shape, at least one elastic member including an elastic material formed to provide an elastic force disposed in the direction perpendicular to the rotation axis of the rotation shaft and configured to deliver an elastic force to the roller, and a detent bracket including the pair of shafts and defining a space for receiving the roller and the at least one elastic member.

    Abstract: An electronic device according to various embodiments of the disclosure may include: a first housing; a second housing; a hinge module rotatably connecting the first housing and the second housing; a flexible display disposed to reach one surface of the second housing from one surface of the first housing across an area in which the hinge module is disposed; and a multi-bar assembly disposed between the first housing and the second housing, configured to be variable in response to rotational movement of the module, and supporting a bending area of the flexible display. The multi-bar assembly may include: a first bar and a second bar arranged side by side, each of the first bar and second bar forming at least one guide recess disposed at positions corresponding to each other; a first bar support bracket disposed under the first bar and including a first rail forming a curved shape and a first rail guide corresponding to the shape of the first rail; and a second bar support bracket disposed under the second bar and including a second rail forming a curved shape and a second rail guide corresponding to the shape of the second rail, the second bar support bracket being coupled to be rotatable and slidable with respect to the first bar support bracket. The first rail forming on the first bar support bracket may be configured to perform sliding movement along the second rail guide of the second support bracket located adjacent thereto, and at least a portion of the first rail may be insertable into the guide recess in the second bar through the sliding movement.
