Abstract: A display panel includes a base layer; a transistor which includes a semiconductor pattern, a gate which overlaps the semiconductor pattern, a source and a drain connected to the semiconductor pattern; a light-emitting element; a capacitor which includes a first electrode disposed in a same layer as the semiconductor pattern and a second electrode disposed on the first electrode; an inter-insulating layer disposed between the semiconductor pattern and the gate; and an intermediate insulating layer which is disposed between the gate and the source and the drain and includes a groove which exposes the second electrode. A side surface, of the intermediate insulating layer, which defines the groove includes a first side surface which contacts the second electrode, an upper surface which overlaps a portion of the first electrode, and a second side surface spaced apart from the first side surface.
