Abstract: A display device includes at least one spatial light modulator displaying an image, a surface light source device providing an image display light from a rear direction of the spatial light modulator to the spatial light modulator, and at least one image transmission member forming a display path of an image displayed through at least one spatial light modulator, the surface light source device comprises an organic light emitting display surface in which light emitting pixels performing a surface light emission are disposed, and an emission driving circuit setting a light emission compensation value for the each of the block areas according to an average value of light emission grayscale deviation for each of the block areas of the organic light emitting display surface and compensating light emission grayscale in respect to the light emitting pixels by using the light emission compensation value for each of the block areas.

Abstract: A method for manufacturing a display device, the display device including: a substrate including a display area and a sub area at a side of the display area; a plurality of light emitting elements on the substrate in the display area; a first dam on the substrate and between the plurality of light emitting elements and the sub area; a bank structure on the substrate and in the sub area; and a first valley between the first dam and the bank structure, wherein the method includes: forming a first metal layer including a first metal in the first valley; forming a step compensator on the first metal layer in the first valley; forming a photoresist layer on the first metal layer and the step compensator; forming a photoresist pattern by patterning the photoresist layer; and forming a first electrode by patterning the first metal layer using the photoresist pattern.

Abstract: A hologram display device includes at least one spatial light modulator displaying a holographic content image, at least one surface light source device generating image display light of a first resolution from behind the at least one spatial light modulator and providing the image display light of the first resolution to the spatial light modulator as background light, and at least one image transmission member defining a display path of the holographic content image. The at least one spatial light modulator generates a holographic content image of a second resolution by the image display light of the first resolution as the background light, and the at least one image transmission member defines a display path of a holographic content image of a third resolution in which the image display light of the first resolution and the holographic content image of the second resolution are mixed.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a display device. The display device includes at least one spatial light modulator displaying an extended reality content image, a surface light source device located behind the at least one spatial light modulator and providing image display light of a first resolution to the at least one spatial light modulator as background light, and at least one image transmission member forming a display path of the extended reality content image. The surface light source device includes an organic light emitting display unit in which a plurality of light emitting pixels performing surface light emission are arranged and an emission driving circuit driving the plurality of light emitting pixels. Each of the plurality of sub-light emitting pixels includes a plurality of pixel drivers and a light emitting element.
