Abstract: A display device includes: a substrate including an emission area and a non-emission area; a pixel electrode located on the emission area of the substrate; a pixel defining layer located on the pixel electrode, overlapping the non-emission area, and defining a first opening therein; a bank structure located on the pixel defining layer and defining a second opening therein; an auxiliary electrode located on the bank structure and including a conductive material; and a common electrode located on the pixel electrode and contacting the auxiliary electrode in the second opening, where the bank structure includes a first bank layer and a second bank layer, which includes different conductive materials from each other, the second bank layer includes a tip protruding toward the first opening from a side surface of the first bank layer, and the auxiliary electrode completely covers the protruding tip of the second bank layer.

Abstract: A display device comprises a first pixel electrode disposed on a substrate in a first emission area, a second pixel electrode disposed on the substrate in a second emission area, an insulating layer covering edges of an upper surface of each of the first and second pixel electrodes, a first light emitting layer disposed on the first pixel electrode and the insulating layer, a first common electrode disposed on the first light emitting layer, a first bank disposed on the insulating layer, a second bank disposed on the first bank and including tips that protrude from side surfaces of the first bank toward each of the first and second emission areas, a first residual inorganic layer disposed on lower surfaces of the tips of the second bank adjacent to the second emission area, and a first oxide layer covering a lower surface of the first residual inorganic layer.
