Abstract: An electronic device including a base member having a touch area defined inside a first closed-shape, the first closed-shape being a first imaginary line, and a peripheral area disposed adjacent to the touch area and defined outside the first closed-shape, and a touch sensor including a plurality of patterns disposed in the touch area to sense a touch from outside and a driving line disposed in the peripheral area and connected to a pattern disposed adjacent to the first closed-shape. The touch area includes a first area defined inside a second closed-shape being a second imaginary line defined in the touch area, and a second area defined outside the second closed-shape and surrounded by the first closed-shape, and an edge pattern disposed in the second area having an area substantially equal to or greater than approximately one-half of an area of a center pattern disposed in the first area.

Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes a display unit including a display panel and a display circuit board connected to the display panel. An input sensing unit includes a touch panel which includes an active area and a peripheral area adjacent to the active area and includes sensor patterns disposed in the active area, and a touch circuit board connected to the peripheral area of the touch panel. A polarizing film is disposed on the input sensing unit and is configured to polarize incident light. A step-difference compensation member is disposed between the polarizing film and the input sensing unit and includes a main portion overlapping the active area and a plurality of slit portions disposed between the main portion and the touch circuit board.

Abstract: A display apparatus including a display panel, a polarizing member having an absorption axis and a transmission axis, and a first touch electrode extending in a first direction is disclosed. The first touch electrode includes first touch patterns and a connection pattern connecting adjacent first touch patterns in the first direction. The connection pattern has a minimum width in a direction perpendicular to a second direction. The first direction and the absorption axis direction form a first directional angle equal to or less than about 90 degrees. The first and second directions form a second directional angle equal to or less than about 90 degrees. The second and absorption axis directions form a third directional angle equal to or less than about 90 degrees. The first directional angle is the sum of the second directional angle and the third directional angle.
