Abstract: A graphic processing apparatus for updating a graphic screen and a method thereof are provided. The apparatus includes an object information calculator for calculating object information of an object input into the graphic screen; an object area calculator for calculating object area information of the input object; and a controller for storing object management information matched with the calculated object information and the calculated object area information, updating object management information of an object edited by an object editing, and then updating the graphic screen by using the updated object management information.
