    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products for digital content auditing in a group based communication repository, where the group based communication repository comprises a plurality of enterprise-based digital content objects organized among a plurality of group-based communication channels. In one embodiment, a computing entity or apparatus is configured to receive an enterprise audit request, where the enterprise audit request comprises an audit credential and digital content object retrieval parameters. The apparatus is further configured to determine if the audit credential satisfies an enterprise authentication protocol. In circumstances where the audit credential satisfies the enterprise authentication protocol, the apparatus is configured to retrieve and output digital content objects based on the digital content object retrieval parameters, receive a violating digital content object identifier, and replace a violating digital content object with a temporary digital content object based on the violating digital content object identifier.

    Abstract: Methods, systems, apparatuses, and computer program products are provided for executing an email communication import protocol in a selected group-based communication interface within a group-based communication system. The group-based communication system allows for receiving one or more email communication corpus associated with email communication accounts and parsing the email communication corpus to identify email communication account identifiers. The group-based communication system thereafter creates and transmits group-based communication interface invitations to the email communication accounts to allow access to the group-based communication interface. Upon access to the group-based communication interface, content from the email communication corpus may be included in the group-based communication interface.

    Abstract: Methods, media, and systems are disclosed for adding new users to a channel in a group-based communication system. The system receives a request to add new users to a channel. The system adds a new user by classifying the new user's email address domain as internal or external. If the domain is internal, the first user is added to the channel as a member, and if the domain is external, the user is prompted for a type of access for the new user. If the new user's access type is guest, the new user is added to the channel as a guest. If the type of access is shared, the channel is shared with an organization associated with the domain, and the new user is added as a member of the channel that has been shared.
