    Abstract: Door sensor hardware is provided that automatically senses the orientation of a door. The door sensor hardware includes electronic circuitry and sensor(s). The sensor(s) determine a current orientation of a door (open, closed, ajar), recent movement, door swing speed, and door acceleration. The door sensor hardware is in communication with at least remote device. The remote device includes a user display to facilitate calibration of the door sensor hardware by a user. The remote device also provides the user with the door orientation as determined by the door sensor hardware.

    Abstract: A faucet is provided that electronically controls the flow volume and temperature of water being dispensed. The faucet illustratively includes a faucet body and a faucet handle. The faucet illustratively includes an inertial motion unit sensor mounted in the faucet handle to sense spatial orientation of the faucet handle. The faucet illustratively includes an electronic flow control system to adjust flow volume and temperature of water being dispensed. The faucet illustratively includes a controller configured to receive signals from the inertial motion unit sensor and control the electronic flow control system to adjust flow volume and temperature of water being dispensed based upon the position of the faucet handle.

    Abstract: An illuminating fixture includes forming a hub body, the hub body formed to include a cavity and an opening extending through an end of the hub body. The fixture further includes a mounting plate configured to be secured to the end of the hub body with the opening, and the mounting plate is configured to secure the hub body to an external surface. The hub body and/or the mounting plate includes a transparent portion that can illuminate an area surrounding the fixture. The fixture further includes a system of electronic components including a sensor system, a controller, and a light generating unit. The controller is configured to generate a light beam based on input from the sensor system. The sensor system may include a motion detection sensor and/or an ambient light sensor. An optical assembly of the fixture is configured to direct the light beam through the transparent portion.
