    Abstract: A cleaning head for a cleaning machine that cleans a surface includes a housing defining a bottom that faces the surface to be cleaned, and a top spaced above the bottom. A brushroll positioned near the bottom of the housing to engage the surface during operation. The brushroll is releaseably connected to the housing; the brushroll is removable in an upward direction from the top of the housing. A suction nozzle has an inlet that draws debris from the surface into the suction nozzle. The suction nozzle is releaseably connected to the housing; the suction nozzle is removable in a downward direction from the bottom of the housing.

    Abstract: A cleaning machine has a housing, a supply tank, a suction nozzle, a suction source, and a recovery tank that includes a container having sidewalls projecting upwardly from a bottom wall thereby defining an open top, a cover connected to the open top of the container, and an air-liquid separator extending into the recovery tank from the open top and having a vertical sidewall, a lower wall extending laterally from a lower end of the vertical sidewall toward an adjacent sidewall of the sidewalls of the container. The vertical sidewall, the lower wall, and the adjacent sidewall define a separation chamber, the vertical sidewall includes a vertical rib extending outwardly from the vertical sidewall and into the separation chamber. The separation chamber includes a dirty fluid inlet receiving fluid from the suction nozzle through the cover, and a dirty fluid outlet directing fluid from the separation chamber into the container.

    Abstract: A cleaning system comprising a vacuum source, a current sensor, a recovery tank having a shutoff float configured to float on a surface of fluid within the recovery tank, and a controller. The vacuum source is in fluid communication with a suction inlet via first and second air paths within the recovery tank. The shutoff float is further configured to block the first air path upon the fluid within the recovery tank reaching a desired level. The controller is configured to receive, from the current sensor, a signal indicative of the current drawn by the vacuum source. The controller is further configured to determine, based on the current drawn by the vacuum source crossing a threshold, the fluid within the recovery tank has reached the desired level and control an operating element of the cleaning system upon determining the fluid within the recovery tank has reached the desired level.

    Abstract: A floor cleaner including a recovery tank that receives a fluid and a suction airflow from a suction inlet and separates the suction airflow from the fluid.     Abstract: A floor cleaner including a recovery. The recovery tank is configured to contain a fluid drawn through a suction inlet from a surface to be cleaned by a vacuum source. The recovery tank includes a shutoff float. The shutoff float is movable between a first position and a second position. The shutoff float includes a float body, a float closure, and a first interconnecting member. The first interconnecting member engages a second interconnecting member to retain the float in the first position. In the first position, the shutoff float is spaced a distance from the suction air outlet, allowing air flow through the suction air outlet. The first interconnecting member engages the second interconnecting member to retain the shutoff float in the first position. In the second position, the shutoff float is adjacent the suction air outlet, inhibiting air flow through the suction air outlet.
